If you are trying to win know and Weegar is available you go and get him. But if your plan is to have a circle jerk for the next year or 2 I wouldn't do it.
- Buff36

I'd rather spend real assests on Andersen.

$4.5M per for 2 seasons, then a big raise, compared to $6.25M long term.

Agreed on rather going for Andersson, but there are plusses to Weegar.

Probably have to trade whichever you acquire in a couple years. Or you let Andersen walk cause you probably cant(and wouldn't want) to pay that next contract.

Andersen you can get assets back. Weegar probably cost you to move out.

Oh I agree, but if Weegar is cheap asset wise and Andersson never comes available. Weegar would fit nicely if you are trying to WIN now.

But then youll most likely have to spend more assets to get rid of the contract down the line.

Arizona isnt taking expensive contracts for free anymore

So how much credit are we giving out here

I mean Donnie would have had to run 10/8 if Benson was sent down

Got to get in the dance to be able to be crowned bell of the ball, and Pavelski has been through the wars many times.

He's the kind of player that would be a huge help: talented, produces, and tough as he'll.

Unrelated: How's the little one?

Hank and I are both new parents this fall.

It's an amazing experience.

- kingcong39

It’s amazing.

He will be 2 in March. Tough kid, he had Covid before he was a year old and just got over the chicken pox last week.

Handled the move to the townhouse in April like a charm.

Wish we sleeptrained him earlier. I got like 3 hours of sleep a night for about 6 months while he was a new born.

Feel free to PM if you have any questions, I’m happy to assist if I can

Berube. Happens to be a friend of mine and has mentioned on multiple occasions the Sabres would be his number 1 destination if he parted ways with the Blues
- lulags

That would be great, however, Pegula and company only hire the most inexperienced coaches they can find with no credibility. This team has talent, it just needs to be harnessed. Even Eichel said he liked the discipline of the new coach for Vegas and that year they won the Stanley Cup.

Mackenzie Weegar might be on the trade block

if he waives his NTC is he worth it?

probably get him cheap if you don't ask the flames to retain

Swedish fish continues to swim around in the murky water of denial Jesus save him

Adams isn't good because he hasn't built a team that wins. Its the only thing that matters in the show

This delusion about sustainable success only achievable through the draft, continues to be floated by the bald man himself is complete and utter nonsense

- ieetbred

There is nothing to suggest that we don’t turn it around this year.

3 points out with 63 games to go.

Future beyond this season looks bright, and he deserves credit for that.

Also never said to not make outside acquisitions as long as they fit the timeline ?

2,3,4 Just saying I dont think you fit him in down the road. Guys 30 in 2 months in the first year of an 8 year contract. 6.25.

Samuelson over 4. RyJo and Joker coming up.

May be tough down the line.

i guess everyone isn't 'fully healthy' and they'll only play 11-7 if it's necessary.

of course, they couldnt musical waivers with levi to call someone up. or whatever.

Comrie to Edmonton seems like a good fit. Maybe we can get a 1st from them with Joker going to Edmonton too and then flip the first to Calgary for Weegar.

Not saying either trade gets done straight up but as a foundation.
