Pretty fun fight to see

Sam was playing rough and tough around the net, paying the price …….

Kinda feel like pk88 lands in florida?
Any thoughts?

- Boss34

Idk if it has something to do with anything other than Ekblad and Montour returning from IR, but they waived Mike Reilly yesterday to clear some room.

That’s an interesting thought, but winning has to be #1 for a guy like pk88 imo

Or a trade deadline handshake if the team is heading in the wrong playoff direction

Good post

the scary thought is he knows his hip is shot so hes holding out for term because he doubts he'll make it through a season lol

and nobody who is gonna win now can afford to sign anyone

my guess is 1 year in detroit is where he ends up

If he's pushing that hard for two years, I'd run away.

Report is, he's only looking at the east because travel is too hard on him. That's a warning sign as well.

Pk88 would need to pass a team physical before signing anywhere

Good points with “who could afford him”

What’s this contract gonna look like for 3/4 or less of a season?

Maybe prorated 4 or 5 million?

I'd think half of that. If he wants to content this year, maybe even 1m.

He would definitely need to take less for a contender.

I think it’s about winning more then landing the biggest contract possible

Signing pk88 would be the splash move this team needs. Someone with actual nhl Stanley cup playoff experience aside from ej

If his primary concern, or only concern is about winning, then zero chance he signs with Chicago, right?

Using EJ as your comparable, Kane might also be shot like EJ.

I would not take that gamble on anything more then a this season only deal, if that.

Florida has been the most aggressive in trying to sign Kane.

Check out their cap space.

If it were just about winning or $, he'd have signed. He's either fighting for both and/or term....assuming he can pass a physical.

Once again, this would fly in the face of everything KA has ever said. If he wins a multi-year bidding war, it will be a sad day.

Buffalo needs a splash move for ticket sales , yesterday was only the 2nd home sell out.
- Boss34

It would take less then a month before fans would wonder why the hell they signed Kane, after seeing his play.

Yea it really makes no sense on any level to sign him

If this team can't figure out how to play 60 mins its hopeless anyways. Is kane really coming to Buffalo to get booed off the ice every other home period?

Max Pacioretty tore his ACL with the canes and signed an incentive deal this summer for the caps and he did not pass a physical

kulich, rosen, benson, quinn

those are the future and spots are not on the team for 2 of them long term (rest of this season) right now, so I doubt there is a spot for kane

Very reasonable post

1 year at a time for pk88

EJ still puts some pretty jarring hits on the opponents, something the young guys like power needs to learn.

Let me guess, ejs underlying stats aren’t good?

The Buffalo Sabres drafted a player who is producing at 0.8 points per game or better this season in six consecutive drafts

2013: JT Compher
2014: Sam Reinhart
2015: Jack Eichel
2016: Brandon Hagel
2017: Casey Mittelstadt

The sabres have won two games in a row just one time this season. If they win tonight they will be carrying 7 of 8 points into what will surely be a tough game against the rangers Monday.

Does comrie play tonight and further pressure the sabres into sending levi to Rochester?

I want to see 12/6, if rosen sits and its 11/7 then what are we doing here

I just hope the effort in the third period carries over and it does not take them 40 more minutes to realize they need to work hard to win

Maybe pass is the wrong word, but he's going to take one and the team has to be fine with what they find.

Why do the Sabres need to make a Splash to sell tickets. Start F@cking winning and play with some Heart for more than a period a game and you will sell Tickets.
