Guy is outside the blue. Shot is high sOrOkin goes down because he doesn’t see the puck.

I think The Isles were the better team so far but just haven’t finished their chances and they made a few defensive blunders that wind up in their net.

Well the defensive blunders for sure but they have been pretty good at burying their chances this year.
Games not over yet. Gotta keep getting the opportunities and get a couple to go in for you.

Well, for anyone who says we don't screen goalies enough, Sorokin might disagree

The comparative between these two teams absolutely highlights a big problem with the Isles. When a Vegas player camps in front of our net, no one even tries to clear him. He's left alone with Sorokin. Therefore he has unchallenged screens and rebounds.
When an Islander does that, by the time there's a rebound, he's on his a55

1) Lambert shouldn’t have challenged that. It was never getting overturned and giving them a power play was never a good idea. 3-1 is hardly game over.

2) Turnover by Barzal was inexcusable. It was a “game” again. You have a chance to bring the puck up the ice out of the zone, you have to do that. You turn back into your own zone and then blindly pass the puck into the middle? That’s just straight up negligent.

Had a golden opportunity to make some ground on the teams around us last night and blew it. LV hasn’t been great lately, gotta find a way to get a point out of this game.

Unfortunately that’s how it works against a team like the Knights…

So, I took a little nap to stay up and watch the game. Isles were able to play 20 minutes with the AVS. After that they looked over matched. Biggest issue is positioning. It is one thing to look for a quick breakout but you need to have possession or the puck and the D needs to hit our forwards not the oppositions.

Sorokin looked averaged at times. I think the 3rd killed the team.

I get what you’re saying as far as the non goalie interference call but we’ve all seen goals called back for less.

I do not fault Lane for the challenge. If they win the challenge, they are going into the intermission down 1 not 2. However, I can see everyone's point that the PK has not been good this year so why risk it.

There was contact, but in their interpretation, it did not impede Sorokin's ability to stop the puck. My interpretation is that it broke his concentration through contact. The only way to take the interpretation out of it is, if you state any contact with the goalie in the crease is interference. Otherwise, these refs are making subjective calls.
