Please, no, anyone but him! A Hall of Famer with 2 rings? Fücking pleb.

Hopefully we don't have to wait until he's 37 before they finally win one.

The 2nd INT I don't really care about. It was a punt with upside. It wasn't a great decision not to take the first down(which also wasn't guaranteed. He may not have total confidence in the backs given the drops recently) and who knows what would've happened if Davis didn't trip over his own feet? I don't think he gets there in time, but we'll never know.

The strip sack was just a great defensive play

Another game against Ramsey, another absolute blow-torching. The guy is the most overrated corner in the league.

The play at the end of the half was a bone-headed one too.

The point about Ramsey is true, but I laid off it only because of their gameplan. That secondary was already depleted, and when you blitz as much as they did, they were already at a disadvantage to be fair. If you don't get home, you're toast.

I'm with you. I have no issue with 90% of Allen's aggression and it's only the extreme one's that get me.

Even the bad int last night. He clearly expected something different from Davis again.

Make that throw every time, imo. I think you score 9/10 and the 10th was blatant penalty.

It's just what you get with him. You get that first INT, but you also get him scrambling on 3rd & 13 with 3 minutes to go and him getting the 1st down with his legs, and oh, BTW, a great DT just bounced off of him on the way. He'll make 2-3 boneheaded plays, but he'll make 5 or 6 others that very few others or no one else in the league can do.

It was just a great play by the defense. It should've been a TD

Yeah, unfortunately they missed a few. Should have been called, plus the half can't end on a Defensive Penalty. Buffalo should have gotten 1 more play.

When you watch both interceptions again, if you do, you will notice Josh throwing while stepping back, off his back foot causing an inaccurate airball type of throw...the worst type of throwing platform one can launch a ball from. It should be a step forward passing motion. It is exactly what the staff has been talking to him about in terms of cutting down on his league leading interceptions.
There is no excuse, he was playing hero ball, and legitimately took 6 , 10 or 14 points off the board.
I have a big time problem with it.
To view one as a "punt" when another solid option is on the table to extend the drive, by choosing a low probability, dangerous throw is not a risk a $40m player should even contemplate, let alone choose to make.

I thought they coached that out of him, but here we are. Lucky the D and Special Teams bailed his ass out to give him a chance to win from behind. Unfortunately, they should never have been behind in that game, nor should it have been a close game. Congrats to him for the game winning drive...too bad he had to over come his own piss poorplay by god-aweful decision making to do so.

All IMO, of course.

So a ? For you all! Does Buffalo win that game if Harty doesn't swing the momentum with the huge Punt return.

I think the number is 6.

Let's be honest here, the bad int had nothing to do with mechanics and everything to do with taking a shot that Davis would be on the same page as him.

I get thinking he should have made the quick throw on the 4th down play. Don't know if he wasn't looking there or what went on in his head. Once he didn't take that, he had nothing. No issue at all with him taking a shot. He clearly wanted to run and had no chance.

Probably. It's not like Miami had anything going for them at the time.

No. And actually, I would argue that TD along with the injury timeout right after helped the defense rest. They were gassed. Poyer's reaction to the TD said it all. He was obviously glad they scored, but also looked exasperated that they had to go back out right away.

Miami's 2nd half:

3 plays, 9 yards: punt
4 plays, 11 yards: punt
3 plays, 3 yards: punt
4 plays, 23 yards: int

I like their chances of scoring twice on their last 3 drives and still winning.

Probably more like 10 pts and the ensuing Miami drive resulted in 7, a 10 - 14 point swing off the interception in the end zone if you believe the Bills drive would have stalled at the 33 or so yd line after dishing the pass to an open player for a 1st down.

Alright, we agree to disagree.

I’d have to see it again, but That gimme throw for a first down had pick6 written all over it if he misfired, or it bounces off of the back’s hands.
Lol, at least the d back couldn’t override his instinct to catch the ball and Dolphins started further back than they could have.

Oh I know Miami didn't do anything, but the Bills really weren't either until that punt return other than making mistakes on Offense.
