I am looking forward to it but this double-blade is so much better than in the first game, it’s so fun

Hit a nice workout during the game. No reason to waste my hours any longer. Can't rmemeber the last full game I've watched. Highlights are always there if they win anyways

I see Casey was promoted.... maybe so they can showcase him for a trade

- DirtyDan

Close, but no.

It's so they can overpay him and then almost immediately after, begin playing him on the 3rd line with reduced minutes.

It is the Sabres way.

They need to address this Quickly! Which they won't and we will have the Same crap happen when Rhino and Eichel had enough. These players are gonna only wait so long for Adams Whatever Plan to work before they are the next round of players out the door. Wash Rinse Repeat

You already shared that Mittelstadt is wondering what the hell is going on with the organization.

I'm guessing he's not the only one.

I had 2’ steel drill-bit with a finger in a twisted shredded glove wrapped around it, in the front seat of an Uber when I took him to the hospital (quicker than an ambulance- 5 minute drive to mount Sinai) they are going to to put it back on.

Absolutely wild experience

Are you saying the players are ogling other cul-de-sacs!?

It makes sense, Adams built a development program in the NHL, once these kids start to become men they want to leave the nest.

Bring on the futures!

>>> Some strong quotes from Marek:

"Quit trying to make this work, it's not going to, and this team is not going anywhere, and all you're going to do is wreck this goalie."

"I don't know that there's another general manager that would let this continue to happen."

"I've had conversations with other teams about 'What are they doing with Devon Levi? What are they thinking? They're not going through any sort of traditional development model' "

"You know who goes right from college to the NHL and stays there? Nobody. Nobody does that, not at that position."

Half of Roll of Masking Tape doing its job. Adams brought that over from Harbor Center, it was the Special Tape he used to keep the Warped Boards up.

It feels like they did realize most of this, then got cold feet.

They held off on most of those re-signings. Gerbe told us they were going to make assistant coaching changes. We know they came close to making a bigger D move and wanted to make a move in net. The good days never came.

- Lunaion

I seriously question how close they came to making a bigger move on defense with how gun shy and bargain centric the organization seems to be.

Overall, does it matter one bit if an organization recognizes problems but does nothing meaningful, or nothing at all to address any fix them?

It's like the 30's through the 50's in baseball where multiple franchises were really just professional farm teams for the Yankees, developing young players until they were ready to be traded to actual good teams.

Feels like that graph clearly outlined the schizophrenic nature of the team, and a small improvement in the bottom level of their inconsistent play recently from night to night.

In short, they still suck.

I don't mean to poop on him as he does look like a strong prospect, but he's the same or similar to much of what they already have.

If they picked him, would he immediately jump to their number one prospect?

I'd say yes, and what would that say about their other 'older' prospects?

Really good player, I hate this because Adams has done it to himself. But this pick is a NEED Pick IMO or you trade it for something your Team needs now!

And Yes he jumps to Number 1, but what does it matter if you don't use your prospects anyway.

I feel like you have a better chance of swinging and missing when you try and draft for need.

I get your point though.

I'd be fine if they drafted Catton, as long as they actually took meaningful steps to break up the prospect and NHL roster blockade by bringing in meaningful and long overdue NHL roster upgrades.

Very good points, that's the biggest thing they have to start treating some of these players like assets and use them to make your Overall Team better. Adams doesn't seem to be able to do that.
