This last UFA class was the worst in the history of the sport lol.

The ways to improve the team were in the trade market and he didn’t pull the trigger.

Now is a better time then never though

Agree on trades. That was a huge miss and still is.
The UFA class had several players that could have improved our team quite a bit. Not worst in history

It’s 2018/2019 all over again.

This time, don’t blow up your core and instead support the core with more talent and replace the janokes behind the bench.

Don’t need to see Dahlin, Power, Tage, etc all playing in the conference finals next year

Right. Having RyJo scratched right now distorts things, but he is our 3rd best defenseman IMO. Eric Johnson is a bad team's 7th D and he plays regularly for us.

It’s a coin flip but I take the 2018/2019 team.

With that being said, missing the playoffs this year with the talent we have would be a disaster.

Beyond the top 2 players that team was baaaad.

Eichel being Eichel made those teams.

Cozens had 7pts in his first 11 games, he wasn't failing miserably. And Tage has a history of starting off years slower, he had no goals in his first 7 games last year and still made 94. Tuch is injured and playing injured...

Hogwash. Teams have figured out how to play Thompson and his numbers reflect that. Cozens is lost. Since the Hathaway fight.. he’s a non factor. Tuch is ok, but won’t be worth what his new contract will cost. Dahlin, Power and Samuelsson… the three we gave long term deals to… a complete joke. Check back in a month or so and we will revisit this charade. Every new contract that Adams has given out looks bleak. I will welcome anyone who argues otherwise. This is the worst run franchise in professional sports. Bar none

Perhaps a team has an injury occur among their D corps as the trade deadline is approaching and their GM will make a rash decision.

Chiarot got a first at the deadline purely as an injury replacement rental, and he didn’t impress much at all. Thankfully Zito didn’t even try to re-sign him to an overpaid contract!
The best part of the Chariot deal was watching Habs fans who were predicting and drooling over a top 5-10 pick early last season as the pick started to drop. “Just outside the top 10 is still a great return... the pick at16 will be a good player...mid 20s is still a good return on the deal.... 31st!??? Sacrebleu!!

Hes been our best player again once his wrist wrap came off. 10pts over 7 games before Seattle I believe.

Its on the coaching staff to change the PP instead of forcing the 1-timer and playing the blue line between both units the whole time very dang time.

Tage has 5 points in his last 4 games since taking the brace off.

Cozens looks snakebit, not lost, he's generated a lot more chances since Quinn came back.

Sammy is probably the only bad deal there and only time will tell.

I'll revisit this in a year if we have new coaching as I agree with the management assessment. Will entirely depend on what coach they bring in and trades to help out the bottom pairing/4th line.
