I Hope Adams is realizing that he can't complete his Team from just Drafting! Sabres need some pieces that aren't in the system or won't atleast be here for 3yrs or so. It's time for Adams to take that next Huge step for him and go outside the Walls and find the pieces to complete his Team. Goaltending while shaky at certain times seems to be rounding out and let's see where it goes. We still need
1- Top 3-4 RD who can skate and plays a Gritty D game. We need to start clearing our Net.
2- Top 9 who can get Mean when needed but can pop 20-25 goals and give me 200 Hits(Lawson Crouse) type. Sabres desperately Need this type of player, he would help some of these players play with how do we put it "Walnuts"
3- Leadership with a Winning Pedigree
, probably 2 of them. Take some Sh!t but I would try very Hard for Stamkos! Might not be who he was but he still at a PPG pace and he's not bad on the Dot.
Sabres IMO with the Talent on the Team and what they have in there system are very Close. Adams needs to See that Big Crossed Swords signal in the Sky. He can't Miss it again or we are gonna just repeat the cycle and watch Hockey Players leave and flourish elsewhere.

For numbers 2 and 3 above, I'm going to keep bringing up Nick Paul.

Take a look at the scouting report.

Not sure how there would be a better fit for what the Sabres need, especially at his salary.

>>> Averaged just over (16:00) time on ice in regular season (22/23)
Deployed in all situations
Solid three zone detail. Wins over 53% of his draws. Not physically punishing but very difficult to defend due to his length. His long reach is also an asset keeping opponents to the perimeter in the defensive zone. Sneaky off the rush - at times he displays and extra gear. When he gets the edge he shields the puck and drives to the net. Bleeds character. Can match-up vs 1F and 2F opponents. (17G-15A) (+11). Has ability to score over twenty goals in secondary role.

>>> Paul has developed into a very reliable 200ft player at the NHL level
He contributes to team success in a variety of roles.
Big body. Long reach. Hard to contain coming off the wall and when driving to the net.
Wins over 50% of his face-offs. Responsible defensively. Can match up against top six forwards
Aggressive directing pucks on net. Not the most fluid looking skater, but he gets everywhere on time and can surprise opponents with his speed off the rush at times.
Averages 16:58 TOI - Used in all situations - Secondary PK - Difficult to play against.

Like him 39, we would have to overpay to get either one know. We missed on both players a few years back IMO

Good Pick.
Bolts aren't letting him go without getting extreme value back. He is an integral player on that team signed to a very reasonable contract.
I'd love him here as he is an absolute beast...be prepared to overpay.

Really don't get where he's coming from, might use that stupid WR Screen to much. But that's every teams play book not Daboll's

His contract is a huge plus, and also a massive minus with how much value it provides Tampa.

Might have a better chance of trading for Cirelli with his contract being almost double Paul's.

If Tampa is too far out of it by TDL, then they may be ready for another "retool" effort that they started last couple year by targeting younger players and be willing to trade Stammer away as well.
Would they be willing to package Paul and Stammer?
I shutter to think what that cost would be, lol.

Buffalo will need to let another team pay the price if Tampa traded Stamkos by the upcoming trade deadline.

They are not in a position to make that trade with Stamkos being a UFA.

But would it be worth what they could bring in Leadership and the knowledge on what it takes to actually do it.

Agreed, implicit in my thoughts when trading for a UFA is having an agreement on contract in place ready to be signed immediately.

I don't see a trade working out between them, being Division rivals...does Buffalo really want to "re-arm" a division competitor? I don't see Adams having the balls nor the brains to properly figure that out

That we’d be in the thick of the Atlantic playoff race and claim one of the wild card spots.

My biggest concern was the coaching staff, and it still is.

Team is 2-0 since everyone told me to shut up about being optimistic about our “4% playoff chances”.

If I’m wrong about them going on a run here this month, I owe Ieetbred a top 15 mock.

This is like saying Adams has a thick head of hair because he’s not entirely bald.

How are they in the thick of a Playoff Race, what we are 8 or 9 pts out and will need a lot of Help to even sniff a playoff Jock! Show me a Post where you were concerned about the Coaching staff before the Season Started. I remember you complaining about it before Thanksgiving, but not before that. I stacked a lot in Memory cause I got called out a bit with a few others with are views before the Season and at the start. Funny the Rainbows 🌈 seemed to have crashed, it's time to put Up or Shut Up throughout the Organization and Adams leads that Party.

Adams changing the optics, hoping other GM'S will take him more seriously in further Conversations.

Maybe some of you are on to something when you say your Gm is infatuated with the Larrys.

Perhaps Adams is even going for the Larry doo

Sabres fans had a pretty good run on this site with Pachla and Balling. Both had interesting and insightful takes, and put out content regularly. This guy spends too much time trying to be clever in every sentence while failing to actually put any coherent thoughts together. At least Garth was good for a laugh. This guy is just unreadable.

Those people you call turds basically laid it out for you and it's basically has come true. But it's miserable around here, why don't you try blaming the Team cause it probably isn’t if they hadn't done such a great job of making It miserable.

Good thing they play 82 games.

All I know is, if they do end the drought like I think they are capable of doing staying true to my word, all the people who have been mocking my “top 5 front office” and “it’s still early” takes better run for cover.

Bud they won 2 games in a row for the first time in 5 months. Maybe relax a little bit.
