Brad Holmes took over as Lions GM in 2021:

2021 draft class:

Sewell- Pro Bowl RT
St Brown- Pro Bowl Snub WR
McNeil- Starting DT
Melifonwu- Starting Safety

2022 draft class:

Hutchinson- Pro Bowl DE
Williams- Starting WR
Paschal- Starting DE
Joseph- Startinf Safety
Houston- Rotational Pass Rusher

2023 Draft Class:

Gibbs- Multi-Purpose RB (touchdown tonight)
Laporta- Pro Bowl TE (touchdown tonight)
Campbell- Starting ILB
Branch- Starting NCB
Hooker- Backup QB with starter potential.

Couple that with a rockstar coaching staff and that’s how you end a decade plus of futility

I wouldn’t say bust. Needs more time

His 1st year he missed a majority of the season an ACL injury and then missed 5 games due to gambling app

“Just a quick anecdote ... I was talking with Lions president Rod Wood last week about the 2021 hiring process, and he said one thing that really attracted them to Dan Campbell was that he genuinely wanted the Detroit job—specifically the Detroit job.

Tonight illustrates why.”

Jeez where have I seen this before.

If only the Sabres solid drafting had a coaching staff worth a crap to utilize it properly

If the Lions can win a playoff game, then the Sabres just might be able to win three games in a row.

Eichel left and won a cup, Stafford left and won a SB.

Both teams missed the playoffs by the skin of their teeth last year.

Lions took the step everyone expected them to, the Sabres have yet to.

Got 39 games left to write that story though.

Meatstick and Ellis aren’t in the same stratosphere as Campbell and Johnson though

You brought up rankings. So just showing you what rankings can do / look like
- Sabretooth9

Yes because they are so alike in the NHL and NFL. Especially Comparing NFL QB to a NHL Defensemen. When there's probably 200 NHL D and maybe 100 QB's.

Exactly. When it’s that much overall money. It’s minimal additional costs.
- Sabretooth9

I believe your assumptions are incorrect of o ly $500m more.
It's ridiculous. You'll have this conversation once per year, if that.

You should post the Points Percentage needed to qualify by earning 98 points.
Might be a real eye opener for you.

We need to go on a 28 game winning streak, and it still probably doesn't get us in.

I don't get his thoughts, especially when there's 320mill in over costs before you even break ground. Let's see Tennessee paid what 2.1 Billion for there new stadium. So say the Bills started at 1.9 Bill for a Dome, so there at 2.2 Billion before breaking ground. So say by the time it's done 2.5-2.6 Billion at that might be low. Is Pegula gonna flip 7-800mill in Overages and maybe more, cause he's probably gonna pay 500mill in Overages right know without a Dome. I don't see him doing that much unless maybe he Sells the Sabres.

Funny cause he would make about a 7 or 800mill profit from the Sabres. Just enough to cover the Overages and some Yacht money.

Really starting to hate plow guys, it's like they wait at the end of the Road and as your putting your Snow blower in the Garage they smile as they drive by and Bury the end of your driveway.

Getting update from source at the stadium that they're doing their best to clear snow in walkways and aisles and such.

But... you might want to be prepared to be sitting in snow.

@Matt_Bove Be prepared to sit on piles of snow. Being told to only shovel walk ways

I live about four miles from Highmark Stadium. This is AFTER clearing my driveway and truck last night until 10:30. We got rocked.

Game day morning in Orchard Park.

We still need shovelers to help get Highmark Stadium ready for today’s Super Wild Card game: http://bufbills.co/3vuSRjA

Aisle seats get an extra boosted view

Clear your seat one snowball at a time, I guess?
