Getting update from source at the stadium that they're doing their best to clear snow in walkways and aisles and such.

But... you might want to be prepared to be sitting in snow.

@Matt_Bove Be prepared to sit on piles of snow. Being told to only shovel walk ways

I live about four miles from Highmark Stadium. This is AFTER clearing my driveway and truck last night until 10:30. We got rocked.

Game day morning in Orchard Park.

We still need shovelers to help get Highmark Stadium ready for today’s Super Wild Card game: http://bufbills.co/3vuSRjA

Yes because they are so alike in the NHL and NFL. Especially Comparing NFL QB to a NHL Defensemen. When there's probably 200 NHL D and maybe 100 QB's.
- Buff36

You wanting another Risto like player

Clifton especially plays the same game. Like identical to trouba and Risto.

Samuelsson and Erik Johnson are similar

The Sabres need another defensemen that you know …… can make a break out pass and get the puck out.

Pumping the puck out for an icing does this team no good

I don't get his thoughts, especially when there's 320mill in over costs before you even break ground. Let's see Tennessee paid what 2.1 Billion for there new stadium. So say the Bills started at 1.9 Bill for a Dome, so there at 2.2 Billion before breaking ground. So say by the time it's done 2.5-2.6 Billion at that might be low. Is Pegula gonna flip 7-800mill in Overages and maybe more, cause he's probably gonna pay 500mill in Overages right know without a Dome. I don't see him doing that much unless maybe he Sells the Sabres.
- Buff36

Pegula won't fund a single cent.
Seat Licenses and Ticket Prices would go up.

The main problem is snow is inside the stadium also. It’s in the concourses due to the wind.

Gotta clear that. Then go from there

By not going with a dome / retractable roof for the next stadium is a colossal failure

This is outrageous.

They need to clear the good seats of snow, so that rich people can be comfortable.

I don't care about the end zones or upper bowl - just clear the expensive ones.

He can only go so High on those Seat Licenses and Ticket prices. Your pushing people out the Door at this point in WNY already with affordability.

It's not like this is the 1st time they have dealt with this, I mean the Stadium has only been there since the 70's.

Connor Hellebyuck rocking a 21-7-3 record with a .924 SV%.

Remember when everyone was too scared to give up anything for him?

Jets #1 points % team in the NHL.

Made a few big trades.

An undesirable location/place to play too.

Weird, how are they good?

Odd how an owner worth about $7 Billion escapes without any blame.

From Field of Schemes:

How much will this bring the total public/private split to? The Associated Press reports that the Pegulas’ share “now stands to potentially match the taxpayer contribution of $850 million, with $650 million due from the state, and the remainder from Erie County.” But that $850 million public cost leaves out about $160 million worth of future upgrades that the state has committed to pay for, while the estimates of the Pegulas’ share leave out the disparity in who’ll be getting revenues from the stadium, as we’ve covered here before:

At last count, Bills owners Terry and Kim Pegula were, after cashing their checks from the NFL’s G-4 stadium funding program and from the sale of naming rights, looking at a total cost to themselves of perhaps $150 million toward a $1.4 billion stadium. If we assume even an average $4,000 PSL sale, times 60,000 seats, that’s $240 million, which would bring the Pegulas’ costs to a nifty –$90 million — in other words, the Pegulas would turn $90 million in profit before the stadium even opens, while taxpayers are out $1 billion and Bills fans are forced to ante up thousands of dollars before they can even think of buying tickets.

Add back in $300 million in cost overruns, and it looks like the Pegulas will be on the hook for around $210 million, while state and city taxpayers will be paying about $1 billion. The Pegulas have an estimated net worth of $6.7 billion, and Sportico estimates that the Bills’ value rose by about $1.2 billion in just the last year, so they can probably find a way to afford it, but if your threshold for an acceptable stadium deal is that the billionaire owners pay 20 cents on the public dollar, you’re probably safe to celebrate now.

Because he doesn't have much of a (frank)ing clue what makes a player a good player?

Traffic report brought to you by Matt.

190 was bare pavement and super easy.

290 was also good.

90 got slow near Walden Galleria. Just sloppy roads but nothing crazy.

219 was a breeze.

That’s it for traffic, back to you.
