Between watching playoff hockey last spring and the coaching staff not galaxy braining themselves into trying to turn into the 90’s Devils this season.

Fix the damn PP and hopefully they can start generating more offence while continuing to defend well and it can be a very entertaining last 37 games here

I know all you care about is wins, but the last 3 games have been anything but entertaining when trying to watch.

Wait until they pay him $7M plus long term, then immediately put him on the 3rd line with reduced minutes next season, and wonder why his production takes a nosedive.

They'll probably win tonight and someone might be impressed beating the 2 worst teams in hockey, but they just put up 1 xG in a period with 2 PP's. They just don't generate offense. Everything used to start with Dahlin and Power. Why are they handcuffed?

The bold is the biggest question of the season, and their largest issue.

You see both of them just dumping the puck out of their own zone far too much, compared to making breakout passes, or more importantly breaking out of the Dzone themselves.

They were the key to a large chunk of the offense they generated last season.

They look confused on the ice this season.

Mind numbing coaching.

There's that chance he will go on one of those 10 game benders where he scores 12 goals.

That first season under Ted Nolan where he had 15/15 in like 65 games I really thought he was going to be that guy - a potential 20 goal scorer who puts in about 30 points and grinds the other team down a little.

The only thing he does is fall down. He has had some actually bad injuries. That concussion in the AHL rocked him permanently. He has bad thighs. They rip easily.

He was never going to be more than a Brian Holzinger type, but he hasn’t even been a Chris Gratton type. At least that guy could win faceoffs.
