Apparently he's a top15 ES forward in the league, so I'd imagine he's traded for a haul...I mean he's a player worth 7-8M per season (I've been told), so he should garner a fantastic return.

The only player I would want from Vancouver is Willander and I doubt they move him for Mittelstadt.

Think he's a good trade chip, actually tried to get Reinbacher, Willander, Luneau in trade packages using Mitts on CapFriendly, haven't had much success. Hell some won't give up Barron. His Cap hit actually hinders some on it. Hopefully a GM thinks differently.

It was a fleece on paper...Adams destroyed the value from that trade with the picks he made.

The culture has been soft and broken for years and is allowed to continue. It’s loser culture. We don’t have any winners. You can’t just hire one washed up defensemen who’s had some success and expect him to transform the entire organization.
New coaching is needed that rewards effort and winning.
At least 1/3 of this roster would need to go if a culture shift is to happen

Skinner/Mitts - and probably a lot more have enjoyed minimal effort careers with the perks of being treated like winners. They are the virus that plagues this organization, and the current front office embraces it.

Dakota is exactly the type of player the Sabres need to get. Solid 3rd/4th liner who hits a lot, fights, kills PK and chips in 10+ goals every year. He's a UFA at the end of this season. I hope Adams goes out and signs this guy. He's 28 years old. 3 X $1.5.

Wish I knew more about Willander and Dakota. Willander I've heard good things, Dakota I don't know. And while Garland is a cap dump in premise, he's got really good defensive numbers, so not an anchor necessarily.

Think we can pull this off without including McCarthy? I just don't know if I want to see another d prospect go the other way if we can avoid it, even one with lower end potential like him.

Our 4th line next year will be Girgs (will resign for 1x 2mil and they will slap the C on his jersey) Krebs, Robinson.
Our 3rd line will be Greenway, one or 2 of the AHL kids or some useless bum we pick up
Top 2 lines will stay the same absent Mitts. We will trade mitts for a 1st and a 3rd
Defense will stay the same
They will lean on UPL and hope Levi is ready to back up

Willander will be Top pair in 2 to yrs at least 2RD, Dakota would bring a lot of what this team misses.
