Some people don't know converting salary to bonus is part of the standard NFL contract and give the GM credit. Sounds like the case here.

Douglas is a FA after 2024 season, Beane actually has to sign him to a extension to move any money around. Douglas is the only player on the Roster who doesn't carry any Dead Cap if he's cut. Bills would save 9mill if they released him, can't see that happening though.
