I was at the game last night in Anaheim. What an embarrassment. Literally Sabres players were falling all over the ice.

Most of them sucked but some really stood out for their suckiness - Joker, Clifton and Tuch were at the head of the suckiness class. Not sure if Quinn, Skinner and Mitts played. Thompson showed some feistiness and Peterka used his speed. Dahlin was OK.

UPL was left hung out to dry on multiple occassions. The Ducks should have won by 5 or 6. He can't be faulted on any of the goals. The brutal giveaways and lack of defence was apparent. Nobody hits on the Sabres and they allow the other team to stand in front of our goalies with no repurcussions. Our break out passes were terrible and they couldn't handle the puck - or even stay on their feet. To top it off, I paid $16 for a beer.

There were quite a few embarassed Sabres fans in the building. I think the Ducks fans took pity on us. That says alot.

I get to watch this team embarass themselves again tonight in LA. I'll be the one wearing a Reinhart 23 jersey chanting "Sell the Team".

The GM built this and has allowed it to become what it is...the players have as much blame as the coach, they are lazy and are just collecting checks.

The same group with the same coach had you people drooling over this team over the summer. All of you were wrong then...you are wrong now.

It was the same in Edmonton. They were a franking joke the first 20 games or whatever.

I want to see both these things simultaneously. I'd actually buy a ticket for that.

The players deserves criticism as well I'm not absolving them of that.

Just that this team is vastly underperforming and that is, IMO, on coaching. 1000%

This 100000% this. There were no issues with this coaching last year. It was all get better players and get better goalies. (see Bryson/Stillman/UPl/Levi)

8 players career years. Same coaching.
Maybe just maybe the year they had last year was unsustainable and they severely overachieved.
