Change the coach and oh look 14 game win streak, top of the league. Whole new team.

This only makes the GM look worse that he hasn't made a change...this group doesn't play a winning style. The culture Adams has designed allows the soft play style...all of the draft picks play that style.

Another coach can tell the players to go to the front of the net...the players in Buffalo won't though. You would have to change everything about them as players to expect that. That's more than coaching - which is a glorified motivator in the NHL

When people accept this season is closer to the norm for these players and coach and GM...the quicker these silly debates come to an end.

It's a total failure, the coach is at most 1/3rd of the problem.

We have been saying the same damn thing about not finishing checks and being tough to play against since John (frank)ing Scott was signed. 50 billion coaches later.

This 100000% this. There were no issues with this coaching last year. It was all get better players and get better goalies. (see Bryson/Stillman/UPl/Levi)

-Trade 1 of the Core guys to the outpost that is Calgary...Tuch, Thompson, Cozens.

The bottom line is this roster is not the Blackhawks. They have legitimate talent that has not only performed previously, but is also in their prime.

Reminds me of the 2009 Penguins. Just mega underperformers with an overall solid collection of players.

Replacing the staff with people who know what the (frank) they're doing would in theory raise the level back to playoff caliber play.

With that dogpoop cuck of a GM and his dim, 3E (frank)ing puppet master in charge though, I don't ever expect real success.

It's heavy regression en masse. What's more telling than "less scoring" is the absolute desert that is expected offense. That has cratered and they don't know the first thing about fixing it.

Coaching Staff- Very Inexperienced, Hold Overs who should be let go and some Experience should be added there.
Team- Talented, not built right and seem to have quit. Everything wrong on this Team isn't Coaching. It's laziness and not having good on ice Leadership. No Compete, No Heart and No willingness to change and do anything to Help make the Team better.
Losing Breeds Losing, nothing will change Until that is Purged. Okposo and Girgensons are Evil and there Losing Aura need to go. They need to bring in winning pedigree.

I am not removing blame from the players, but I promise you, with every fiber of my being, a different, able body would get megatons more out of this group than what we are seeing today.

His tenure prior to this was one of worst signings in team history. a guy everyone hated, a guy who road the coattails of Tavares prime. A guy two years into his contract everyone was trying to figure out how to get for of him.

That guy is your captain. Thats a problem.

This group has relied on talent all the way to the NHL, now they are all bunched together and don't know how to fill roles, their talent isn't carrying them anymore, and they have no idea how to solve this problem.

A coach is going to have to completely change them as hockey players to get this group to become something.

I think Meatball is Krueger-lite - I want him gone, I just don't think it's a quick swap and improvement. This is going to require a total overhaul of culture for this group.

The problem is that guy didn’t realize it himself and when he did, he had a nervous breakdown and remembered that one time his butthole was touched as a child and handcuffed the team with a suicide threat so they made him captain and planted flowers that grew into egg shells and made sure everyone was really nice to each other - no unsolicited butthole touching in the locker room. And we all know how much hockey players enjoy unsolicited butthole touching.
