I’ve been not all that bullish on big picks from the CHL. Points skew it & don’t I trust stats. Over the years my tendency is D from the WHL & F’s from the OHL. QMJHL only when studs like MacKinnon but not very often. Now of late the WHL has really been a go to for elite of top prospects. BC boys setting the trend & some other very nice prospects added in. USHL is right up there at the top consensus #1. Euros are easily the hardest for me especially Russians so tend to ignore those. Russian D on the other hand I cannot ignore. Goalies anywhere absolutely no clue on them.

If I remember more correctly , a lot of people started out on the Glass list but the weeks leading up to the draft they seen Petey being wined and dined by the Sedins and were okay with the selection.

I have seen Fabros name thrown out there twice today. That is a minor trade IMO if it did come true. Glass is not the player anyone thought he would be and Fabro is like Troy Stecher.

On paper yup but Kuz could still end up the better player in the end if that deal goes down. Glass is an AHLer nothing gained there. Fabbro is not a top pair RHD imo but could replace Myers on the 2nd pair when he walks this offseason. Puts him at 3rd pairing. So if PA gives up on KUZ something like this looks like it could happen. Fabbro isn’t getting a better return but wtf do I know lol

I don't like either of their salaries TBH. If you put Glass in Abby you still need to eat half his salary.

Raty on the cheap when or if Bleuger is resigned a better 4C option on the cheap. Not saying he’s ready but my choice between him & Glass @2.5m as a maybe 4th liner. Suter by far a better value as a 3C or Swiss Army knife. Glass is a cheap cap dump for the Preds. Keep him. Kuz still has upside but at 5.5m that’s a tough one if cannot get outta the doghouse.

Fabbro has stagnated & doesn’t help us for his 2.5m.

Look for a better fit in a trade or keep working with Kuz.

Raty is not an NHL player yet and maybe won't be. You want a guy like Suter playing 3C or 4C and having a line like Garland Blueger and Dakota as a third line.

I think the entire second line is what needs to be fixed.
