Selke is for best defensive forward, Petey will be on the ballot for the second year in a row though. - neem55

I've long advocated for us trading him, he sure would have looked better in a Canucks uniform than who we drafted that year. |

Justin Williams saying - not having much playoffs experience means nothing (he was also speaking from experience) to the canucks. Said They dont seem like a team thats scared of the limelight, big games/moments and theyre as confident as a team gets.
Also said, not having a true second line doesnt seem to be hurting them because all their lines are dangerous, said that makes other teams terrified cus its impossible to line match or plan against.
Interesting perspective. |

I lost out making the rep team to his old man back in the day. Bitter taste from the way hockey politics were back then. Idk if still the same now. |

I am not sure but I thought he had thought they didn't have a chance last week. I could be wrong.

I used to work with his mother at Safeway and ended up following his career since peewee and got season's tickets for the Rockets while he was there. |

Yeah I like hearing stuff like that directly from players or ex players.
A couple other similar things I've heard in the past.
1. Trading within your division is a bad idea...Ferraro said GMs really don't give a (frank) about that bcus the max you a play against the traded players team is 4 and out of those 4 games the amount of direct impacted that player may have against you is small.
2. managment convincing players to help them tank for high draft picks. lol
As if these pro athletes give 3 fawks about draft position....idiotic. |

Gillis traded picks so couldn’t waste em on the draft. Needed more trades. |

Agreed. Or just vote the Norris properly as the best overall dman, either one is good. |
