I never even thought about a trade for Sid until I seen it here. It has now taken to Twitter by a few hopefuls. I don't think it has traction but who knows it would be a game changer and maybe JR has asked.

A few days ago I thought Petey at 12 mil might be the agreed to number this summer, but the more I read the less I think it is a done deal.

He is not a great center so why pay him like one? I know Nylander got a very nice contract but IMO it is a huge overpayment by the Leafs but that is not surprising. PA is not saying much and Petey is saying he don't want to talk about it. In fact he told Kevin Woodly that he is not saying one word about it again. All discussions are off for now.

I personally don't care one way or the other if he stays or not. I like him but my opinion is he is a very good player not a superstar.

I have no problem with him coming in around the 10 mil mark but I think higher than that it is stupid. Just my opinion.

Still early kind of in the planning stage. This coming September is the closest date to make big decisions. The sooner I dial it in then I can project how long & much I want to work then onto buy in Cabo for example for winter snowbirding. As far as Petey being a better winger than C? Based on what? 100 + point C last season with 39 goals and finished top 10 in the league in points. Most of this season in the middle and on pace to do it again... what case can be made he is a better winger than C?
