Power isn’t even trending towards being a Tyler Myers, let alone a Victor Hedman. We will continue to mentally masterbate about Power being young and needing to mature etc… I believe more than ever that Owen Power will be serviceable at best… certainly not an $8 million a year defenseman. Does he have some skills offensively- yes he does, but not that of a first overall pick. Defensively he is a yardsale. He was born without a sack.
- Cory1

He's better than Tyler Myers today, but okay. I agree he needs a lot of help defensively, but his offensive side, particularly last year, shows he has talent (agreed there). The comparison to Hedman is simply due to size, high pick status and both having struggles early on in their respective careers. Can swap Hedman for Parayko as someone else mentioned.

Is Olo the 1st to publicly request a trade this season?

Olofsson, a pending unrestricted free agent, told The News that he’s informed the Sabres that he’d welcome a change of scenery before the March 8 trade deadline.

“Yeah, definitely,” Olofsson, 28, said when asked if he’s approached General Manager Kevyn Adams about a possible trade. “I’m not going to lie about that. I’ve got to play hockey and right now I’m not doing it. You always have to think about yourself and your career. I’ve always had a great time here, and I love it here, but I’ve got to think about myself obviously. If there’s an opportunity to go somewhere and play, that would be the ideal thing.”

Trading Olofsson is a complicated task, though.

Most contenders in need of a power-play specialist will not be able to fit his $4.75 million cap hit. Scouts haven’t seen much of Olofsson in 13 months. He’s been scratched in 24 of Buffalo’s last 68 games and he’s averaging only 11:55 of ice time per game.

Cracks me up that people call him a PP specialist. Current PP sucks and VO doesn't crack the 1st unit when he plays.

That's retarded.

Politicians and their fear mongering have grabbed hold of you, no chance of that happening.

People keep themselves inside their media bubbles where they're constantly told the other side is evil and wants to destroy your way of life. It's no surprise people feel like that.

I already said numerous times how this will play out

Russia and Ukraine first, Israel and Palestine Second, China and Taiwan third.

Biden will be declared unfit for Presidency with dubious timing before this fall election. They will make sure to have a woman President before Trump gets back in there.

False flag event will pull America into war, elections will be a poopshow, Harris will win, chaos ensues.

But she will be a swift and strong President. She will send the National Guard to kill their own families and they will.

War on Terror eventually shifts to South America. Border deal imminent upon Mexico declaring War on the Cartels with America to clean up Latin America and go get that Venezuelan oil, baby.

Agreed, the article is a tough reeed on Adams.

Olo requested out over the summer, Adams (Terry) wouldn't retain, then they use the Quinn injury in an attempt to cover why Olo didn't get moved.

The GM is biggest bust in the organization...followed closely by coaching...then support staff...then vets....then players in their prime....then youth.

Was Dahlin a late bloomer or just a guy that played for Krueger? LOL, kidding...with maybe a smidgen of truth.

I don't see why everyone always thinks Oil. I mean we produce a lot and we could still do a lot more if we wanted to. Actually think we are Number 1 right know in Barrels produced a day. We need to worry more about resources for different Minerals and Compounds used in the next phase of Technology and Chip manufacturing. We could get outpaced in Technology because we have to buy a lot of that material, cause we don't have a lot of those compounds for use here.

Didn't they try it earlier in the season? I remember him blasting a lot over the net or whiffing.

I know Steve Smith is better than whoever their D guy is.

They did. The league learned who VO was and it stopped working a long time ago.

It's been a while, but I don't remember him getting many good shots off this season.

The Sabres ruined Dahlin.

I’ll go on record and say if Dahlin went to any other team he’d probably be regarded as the best defenseman in hockey.

Begrudgingly I'd have to say yeah but it's close at this point. If I'm being generous Donnie got Tage, Mitts, Dahlin and Skinner going again. That has to be worth something. Krueger seemingly didn't do anything positive.

I don't think he's ruined, but they definitely didn't help him. Pretty much finding his own way. We are lucky he's that good to achieve that. Definitely would have been fun to watch if he had the proper Partner and coaching.

Don't agree with the idea that development creates permanent, irreversible scars.

Makar isn't better than Dahlin because of development.

Dahlin always had some physical aspects to his game.. and he has developed them very well. Power has zero interest in engaging physically, most cases he avoids it. Zero… zilch.. none at all. Some players just lack some essential skills that might have been overlooked in early development. This is the case with Owen Power. I wish I had reason to feel differently

Think you always have to question what the coach did, vs what he gets credit/blame for.

Krueger had a good 1st year, then faced the most ridiculous hockey schedule ever conceived. I think he gets a little too much heat.

Facing some adversity, Donnie is sounding just like Ralph to me.

Since we are down on Power, let's see how the D plays the next few games. Could say some things.
Or Ryan Johnson steps in and looks really good and then that gives you options, especially with Samuelsson.

Do you actually follow the team or just post nonsense? I suppose you are delighted by Power’s overall game? I’d love to learn more😂
