But that does not change the fact that they are 23. It is the same as the term almost pregnant. You either are or you're not. A list of players under 23 should not have two players that are 23.

Also, he has a goalie limit of 25 years old. So only Bains who turned 23 while he was writing it

Because he wants to? Because he's writing the articles? Because he doesn't want to list out every single prospect on every single team in the NHL? Because:

Why do people complain about getting free content to talk about?

- NewYorkNuck

Debating.

I think after Podz Willander Bains DPetey Woo Silovs and Likker they is almost zero chance you will see anyone else ever play a Vancouver game.

Raty and Sasson are a big maybe , but they would be next in line.

Oh Christ here we go. The scouting guru is about to give us one or two random players listed at 14 th who will never play a game as a Canuck.

What rage? I was waiting for you to do your in-depth report and pages of prospect info of players that would never make the team.

Not debating. Debating would be listing your own prospects or talking about the content of the list. People are just complaining about the semantics of the list, that there's an age cut off they don't like.

I consider Podz, Bains, DPetey, Woo and Silovs replacement level players and career AHLers, Likker and Willander might be NHL regulars (TBD) and Raty and Sasson probably are gone after the season's over as they are emminently replaceable. Raty just doesn't scream NHL player to me after he was given up on by the Islanders and who isn't the 1C in Abbotsford

Then expect criticism when an article isn't fully inclusive.
And try not to sound like a tear-filled Leaf fan when those questions arise.

I listed my 10 so I am officially debating.

As Marwood pointed out age should not matter. It should be a list of potential players that will play a game as a Vancouver Canuck. His list of 14 has about half the players with no chance, and omitted a player that does have a chance.

Sasson is a long shot to play a game for Canucks and Ty Mueller is even a bigger longshot.

If a list gets posted we have the right to critique it same as Mini did to my list.

People said the same thing about Hoglander last year. He was called Nils B1tch. Too soft.

Podz is developing very well and they are bringing his skills out and teaching him how to play. He has the toolbox but lets see if he knows how to use them.

From all reports I am reading, Mynio is looking like a nice prospect.

You should pay more attention so you aren't rooting for players that never even get NHL contracts.

Y'all sound so butthurt that someone took their time to write out a list of prospects and give their reasoning but put an age limit for themselves because they have parameters. Jesus

I guess not if you are one of those stupid enough to pay for the drivel. When I want to read drivel, I just go to Canucks Army, which is free.

I very much doubt that he'll have a Hog-like renaissance to his game as Hoglander was primarily a scorer that people thought would need to be in the top six in order to do well but ultimately changed his game to be a middle/bottom six energy guy. Podz has always been a power forward and either they figure it out or they don't and he still hasn't quite figured it out.

Debating now after for sure, glad for it.

But to be the complainer why only 10/12? Why not list all the prospects? Seems arbitrary and non-inclusive. Doubtful everyone on your list will play so why list them at all?

However, age does matter. How many people are ranking 26, 28, 30 year old prospects? He put a line where he wanted.

He is not a power forward. He is nothing like or as big as a Bertuzzi or Mark Stone. He is not a fighter. He is more of a Swiss army knife. He does most things well and no things great.
