It will probably take more than one.

It’s an irrelevant thought because he has a full NTC through the summer of 2027. It would take an act of god to get rid of him. I’d love to say “bury him in the minors for the remainder of his deal or until he requests a trade” but that’s never going to happen so it isn't even worth discussing. He’s a hurdle the Islanders will have to clear nightly for the next 6.5 years.
