it looks ruined but it was actually pretty good. i just salt, pepper, garlic salt, and parsley on it and threw it under the broiler until the meat thermometer said it was 140 american degrees.

also that's a 9 x 13 inch pan. it was the piece of meat that flipped the flintstones car.

lol, I think it's the aluminum plate that threw me off, I'm used to cooking that either in a pan or on the BBQ.

once you plate it with some taters and veggies I'm sure it would look completely different.

since you aren't eating chicken (allegedly, I won't tell) I guess it makes sense that you've decided to pursue an intense beefacide to compensate.

well actually, it took up the whole plate. the sides had to go to a little side dish.

a simple and very decent spice mix, can't really go wrong with that. (well, unless you (frank) up the proportions real bad lol)

it's an oversized plate already. the steak was just immense. i forget how much it weighed but i wanted to try different cuts that aren't as expensive as ribeye, which is what i would usually buy. this was "top sirloin". i also have a "top round" in the freezer so i can try that.

i read you have to go heavy with paprika. but other than that i'll just use a sprinkling of the others.

ribeye and striploins are the best but you can buy cheaper cuts and marinate them and spice them up.
