I expect there's gonna be some improvement, but you can't expect miracles either if they're bringing in more rookie dmen next year like Mailloux and Hutson, those guys are gonna have their learning curves as well.

I don't think their problem in the d zone is related to the age or experience of their dcore. they could have 6 Parayko and they would still look awfull.
it's the system they play that is the problem. not just the dmen, the forwards too. that is on the coach, much more than on the players imo.

ben c'est mon point, j'aimerais qu'on aille chercher un défenseur avec plus d'expérience cet été, dans l'idéal en bas de 30 ans si possible, mais un droitier pour sûr.

J'aimerais que Ghule retourne à gauche et que si on doit échanger Savard l'an prochain, on a d'autres options à droite à court terme.

while I agree that St-Louis could use some additional experience on the coaching staff to help him out, to me it's pretty apparent that they're going through very typical rebuild struggles. becoming a complete NHL dman takes time, and this rollercoaster ride where they have good and then very bad games, or even good and bad periods on the same night was to be expected.

je pense qu'échanger Savard ferait du sens l'an prochain, ça va être sa dernière année de contrat... idéalement j'aimerais mieux que l'équipe soit capable de continuer à évoluer sans avoir à le remplacer, je voudrais pas qu'on cherche à transiger pour un ou d'autres défenseurs quand c'est clairement ajouter à l'attaque que la priorité devrait être.

this year? sure, he's having a good season, but the return needs to be interesting, adding more 2nd and 3rd round picks would be pointless for the team moving forward.
