Yup, Wild were down 5-2 but score 5 in 5 mins in the 3rd to take the lead...

Why are the Leafs looking so good lately? They have a lot of hungry players, up from the minors and on the fringe. They want to play in the NHL and they play every shift like it's their last. Leafs defenses is about 3 NHL players deep right now. The other 3 plus Lagersson are pretty much AHL material, but they want to win and stay in the show. We also have wingers on the 4th line in the same boat. McMann, 10 days ago couldn't crack the lineup. Robertson, the same. Add Holmberg to that list and you see a team of hungry roll players. It reminds me of a playoff run in the early 1990's, when the Leafs went to the conference final with a bunch of AHL retreads and players like Gary Roberts and Alyn McCauley leading the charge. Their fortunes changed, in the 3rd round when injured players came back into the lineup and upset the chemistry. Maybe when Rielly, Woll and Jankrok are ready to play, they should stay out until the Leafs lose 2 games in a row. Don't mess with what's working.

I can’t remember the last time I saw a team score double digits (2 EN, but still…).

Earlier today, the crushing weight of existence had nearly snuffed out my reason to live. I felt the sweet eternal call of the abyss, beckoning me closer to the void. I was ready to surrender to it.

I felt filled with love and light again. Purpose and meaning flowed back into empty recesses of my tortured soul. Somewhere in my mind, a feeble voice said - "It's not the Lightning", and I shouted back - "IT'S BLUE AND WHITE!"

The abyss can't hurt me any more. THAT is the power of Matthews.
