I don’t see the rangers doing much in the po’s. Hope to be right about that. 😂

Hopefully they are peaking too soon.

Have to hope the Rangers big run puts some heat on ownership. Could be a pipe dream.

I don't think any other team, including the rangers, will have any impact on the Isles ownership's decisions.

Probably not Jimmy. At least not these owners.

Hope to be wrong about this but I don’t see him getting fired nor do I see him folding up his tent just yet.

Have to agree with this. I hate the word unfortunately, as it’s always followed by a negative statement you don’t want to hear. But unfortunately, I think you’re correct.

Nothing better then watching them glide around for fifty mins then decide to start playing like they care in the last ten.

Hopefully Lee doesn’t do a post game interview. His last couple made me dislike him.

Sell Lou sell!

25 games left. They aren't climbing over 3 other teams. Plus the Pens are 2 points behind with 3 games in hand on the Isles.

Didn’t see it but his last few were to me disappointing. Almost seemed like he was ok with the way team played in a couple of the last few games. Like they lost due to divine intervention and not because they played like crap.

At one point in the post-game, Roy said to the Newsday reporter, "Then you have a better understanding than me." What was the question he was responding to?

Not sure how he could watch that game and think they played well enough to win. They were listless for 80% of it.

I think Roy is keeping most of his criticisms in-house. It won't be satisfying to us when we're frustrated, but he's not ready to throw players under the bus publically.

This team is playing with no confidence and I think he realizes it.

Definitely disappointing after driving nearly three hours to see them. To make matters worse, we had a group of six Lightning fans behind us cheering at the top of their lungs.

Just a few impressions from the game:

-No surprise but Sebastian Aho is clearly in over his head out there. At times it's like watching a 13 year old kid trying to play up with 17 year olds. He's fast enough but that is literally all he has.

-Pierre Engvall isn't a fast thinking player. Watching Engvall away from the puck, he tends to react to plays very slowly. Several pucks that came his way seemed to take him off guard and handcuff him.

-Horvat seemed cursed, constantly dealing with bouncing pucks.

-Martin and Clutterbuck are done in every way. Appreciate their service but they bring nothing at this stage in their careers.

-Palmieri is a real feisty guy and despite having a great instinct for where to go, he never seems to cash in on numerous opportunities.

-Dobson is a damn talented guy but makes a lot of terrible decisions.

Tampa stayed very disciplined in tracking their man defensively. The Isles had very little time and space most of the game. That said, the Isles did very little to CREATE time and space. They look like a team that just can't will their way to success at this stage

I agree to a point. However they were flat for 50+ minutes. It's okay to say the team's performance was disappointing. Roy doesn't have to point fingers. Just don't give me this we had a chance and got unlucky BS.

It tough for Patrick, but he already can tell he does not have the horses. No coach is going to be able to fix this mess.
