Leafs sent the Yotes to their 11th straight lose last night - dmnted
Those (frank)ers are making it very hard for the Habs to slide into top 5 pick territory!

I am fine with Brodie on the right side with less mins.
I just can't see many RHD being acquired.
Tanev is the guy probably.
Matt Roy would be ideal but depends what LA wants to do. - Santo_44
You'd think they would want to keep him as their own rental for their own playoff push. |

Malkin has the exact same GP, goals and assists as Tavares this year.
He's doing it for $6.1M a year. - Atomic Wedgie

1: I thought Roy played for the Kings?
2: I know you probably didn't use the word always literally here but I can't remember them doing so repeatedly. - Scabeh
He does, but there are some rumours he is available and I am just saying its not like teams haven't done it before.
Leafs traded Sandin and Engvall last year. It is not out of the ordinary for teams to trade roster players and add elsewhere. |

Leafs didn't hold onto Sandin or Engvall.
Not saying it will happen but Kings can't re sign him and they have other positions to improve on. |

The Blues always had that mentality of trading players they wouldn't sign even with being in a playoff position.
Also they seem to be trusting Clarke more and more.
They may use the capital they get to improve elsewhere. - Santo_44
Leafs don't have a goalie to send them and their draft capital is low. |

Leafs don't need to send them a goalie.
Just like how Washington didn't send the Leafs ROR.
Or the NYI didn't send the Leafs Schenn.
And if Roy came available the Leafs have the assets to get him. |

My wife has forced me to watch enough Property Brothers and HGTV to know that people are (frank)ing retardedly mental about where their kids go to school and moving them. So while it might seem like a har har joke, these people are entrenched...and also need their walls torn down to make a nice open concept with 0 sound dampening! |

Engvall and Sandin were not as high on the depth chart as Roy is to the Kings. He's the #2 RD. You're welcome to dream but 1. I don't see why they can't resign him 2. Don't be disappointed when he isn't a leaf
Kings have aspirations of making the playoffs as they did so last year. I don't think they are going to re-tool and trade away important pieces in hopes of getting someone better. They likely just add to the existing team.

$6.1N is too high for Tavares' next contract. |

There are rumours that he is available and wanting to add elsewhere.
I won't be disappointed, but there is a chance and he is a good fit.
Never once said this is happening so no need to tell me that that is what I am saying. |

There's always rumours. Lots and lots of rumours around trade deadline and 90% don't mean anything.

Well, since he got his big contract, greedy perimeter Willy only has 10 goals and 10 assists in 18 games. |

I never wanted to go to Pittsburgh, but then last night I saw the same commercial 76 times with Colby Armstrong telling me to go there, so I'm packing my bags right now. |
