Realistically it's a penalty. Realistically they've let worse infractions go in this game due to the high number of penalties Arizona has already taken - in fact they have actually made up a penalty in this game - but that doesn't change the fact that this team cannot kill a penalty. After the first period they had to know this was coming.

They have a terrible PK system - and it's evidenced by the 22nd overall penalty kill in the league. If you want to be a contender, this PK is more than just your Achilles heel. And it's not really getting better - being 21st overall in February, 18th in January, 25th in December, 12th in November and 26th in October.

It's all over the bad part of the map. This is an area they desperately need to address.

And if we are poop posting this is not even the worst thing about this team. I would have gone with the following list of reasons why this awesome team is poop.

I’m just not much of a sleeper tbh… sometimes I am but for the most part I’m not. Especially since I gave up coffee tbh.

Checkin in and keepin an eye on the game at least and dont like giving up 3 to Arizona BUT least we are winning and Matthews with a pair and Bobby Mc with a goal and assist too which am loving! Finally someone giving us some needed second line scoring.

Cant take anyone lightly when you are the Leafs though cause we all know how leafy that one goes but.... maybe there is something to all the injuries and the suspension and us using what we have internally and balancing out ice time etc.
