Current owners Chipman and Thompson invested $170M for a team now valued over $700M. Product is and has been decent. Owners should spend on growing their franchise instead of sharpening their knives and waiting for the juicy windfall.

problem with winnipeg is that there are not enough big companies that buy the boxes or the bunch of seats to give to employees.

If I were you I wouldn’t even engage in that argument. Can you imagine what Matthews could do with McDavid.
Early in the season when McDavid was injured draisaitl disappeared.

McDavid had 50 PP assists last year.

If McDavid and AM played to together AM would have more PP goals 100%.

5v5 I think would hover around the same.

Crying small market is BS IMO. Roll up your sleeves and get to work on selling the team to fans. Find other sources of revenue and drum interest.

As I mentioned, Thompson and Chipman have made a capital gain of over $500M on their purchase so spend some money and get the community of businesses and fans to buy in.

im just pointing out its a challenge. In calgary every oil and gas related company at least has a couple of seats. and the big boy companies have the boxes. Winnipeg has some mining co's and the human rights museum which i doubt turns a profit
