Subway is discontinuing mustard.
- drexel

According to the EU, Subway has(had) so much sugar in their bread*, that they passed the threshold of what is considered cake, and had to label it so.
*This may have changed in the years since it first came out.

Point remains. Mustard on cake is gross.
(assuming it's even 'mustard')

Odd coming from you... you seem to think the leafs shouldn't sell the farm to win a cup so you know, that they still can be competitive in years to come. But you applaud the rangers 1 win in almost a 100 years.

Not surprised you have this stance. You tend to always point to others teams successes as legitimate and tear down anything about the leafs. I mean, you point to the rangers going deep in the playoffs as being good over the past 30 years but you don't include the leafs doing to the same. Leafs have been to the conference finals 4 times but that's not good enough for you because it's the leafs...totally okay it's another team though.

- Aaron_85

Holy (frank). Jumping into another convo you weren't part of.
Im not applauding anything. I simply replied to a post that suggested the rangers were cursed by pointing out a cup win 30 yearss ago. It wasnt a serious convo.
Ffs.
And i did mention leafs con finals appearances, although i thought it was two in the past 30 years or so. I dont have to tear down the leafs, just simply point out their past results....while saying I hope that changes this year.
Gawd, so (frank)ing sensitive.

And yes, selling the farm hasnt worked for the leafs, they dont need to. Grab a top 4 to play with morgan and maybe a depth forward...on the cheap. Unless they come with term and are youngish. A pretty common sense take.

On cake, yes I would think it would be gross.
But on sammies, burgers, chicken tenders, as a light seasoning....so so good.

I remember when Subway brown bread was just white bread with caramel food colouring in it. Those were the days.

Great
At least theyve won one in the past 30 years.
1 more than the leafs have won in the past 55 years.
And theyve lost in a cup final and made it to the 3rd round a few times i believe.
Leafs have one 3rd round appearance i think in the past 40 years....maybe two?

- Fakepartofme

4 3rd round appearances - against LA, Vancouver, Carolina and Jersey.

Yeah, kinda weird to think of it that way, but think about a delicious brioche bun: that's way more like a glorious soft donut than a Subway bun.

Mustard is also a great emulsifier for oil and vinegar dressings.

I was talking about since 94 and forgot all about Carolina when Sundin was injured.
But ya 93 was the big one....so 4 appearances in 31 years.

They were fun runs, we desperately need another one.

The best thing about these last 6 games is the leafs havent had to solely rely on goaltending to get the wins. Outside of a few nice saves, I dont recall the tenders standing out much. Just doing exactly whats been asked of them. The team in front of them has been standing out.
Nice change.

- Fakepartofme

It's also been nice that they haven't been undone in those games by badly-timed soft goals against. Sammy not giving up touchdowns is nice.

I still want to know what they did with Sammy on his break, and can they do it to everyone.

I didn't know that. Rapeseed needed that rebrand.

In that Carolina series Sundin came back and staved off elimination with a late goal, only to lose in OT. Which he then did again against Philly before losing.

Its an open forum lol Where did this entitlement come from?

Very millennial of you.

To your point, I'd suggest the rangers are cursed since they have 4 cups total in their near 100 years existence. 1 in about a 100 years but when you're cursed I guess that's good enough.

Yeah...as I said you toss up rangers success over the past 30 years and then denigrate the leafs for not having success in the same time period with similar accomplishments.

But hey you can beat your chest that I'm not allowed to reply to your open forum post all you like. Speak in DMs if you want a private conversation.

When Sundin scored to tie it, I heard neighbours whooping it up through the building walls.

Then later it OT it got very quiet. I was depressed for a while.

To this day I harbor a deep resentment against the stupid-ass expansion (frank)head Hurricanes

Ya he got injured and the team played well without but couldnt close it out when he came back.
Sundin was great.
Only had a couple of 40 + goal seasons as a leafs....whats Matthews on his 6th already?
