the way I see it, there's a strong and undeniable correlation between team progression and key players staying healthy and remaining in the lineup.

of course the injuries don't explain the whole picture, and St-Louis could surely benefit from having more experience on the coaching staff to help him steer the team in the right direction, but it's hard to get collective results on a rebuilding team when some of your best players are missing, it is what it is.

I think we have all been saying that, from the day Luke Richarson left.

But the team, as a whole, is not dramatically progressing - regardless of injuries.

the way you were talking about how harsh you can be on a pair of shoes, going for cheap may not be ideal, but then again I get your point that spending more doesn't necessarily equate to higher quality and durability either.

also, what the (frank) do I know.

Admitting it is the first step....

may go out to get the cheap pair of shoes, may wait for the next pay for le coin des coureurs

I think Globo might be a better idea than a place like Marshalls but I may have to go further from my place to get there.

I may or may not go out for brunch as well before the shoes

- deadpoulet

I find at globo you can get a pair of Adidas for $50 at msrp, but Marshalls you can get an Adidas msrp $150 for $70. Just depends if you to spend a little more to get value

You're right. If you want running shoes to last you need to spend $$$. Unfortunately, you still need to be careful as shoes made to be lite can fall apart, or manufacturing defects exist. But a pair of $180 trainers will last for 1000-1200km depending on how violent your stride is

I find putting a number of potential kilometers on a pair of shoes is kind of odd, but I guess that's more of a common thing among runners, and would make a lot of sense for them.

ok

I have a globo and a footlocker near by. Never went to Foot locker

the other place I would go have both marshalls and winners but not much else.

not going to Lequipeur, another store that needs to burn

They wear out. The cushioning goes out, the tread disappears and the outsole starts showing your running style and becomes thin in certain parts

8 mois apres tu as une paire scrappe.

I'm sure he does lol. I was kidding about him not having a normal walk, but I know that there are certain techniques to consider when it comes to running, and how you distribute your weight with each step. it isn't necessarily as simple as just going "left, right, left, right", so maybe he could look into that.

sounds like a completely normal and healthy thing that doesn't require any therapy whatsoever.

speaking of waddle, i know everybody hates these canadian geese but i love them. there are like 75 that hang out in our field here almost every day and i kind of love them.

i wish they weren't so violent when i try to pick them up.

jk, i don't try to pick them up.
