Changing the subject from that insanity for one moment to a semi funny story . . .

We got an IPTV box from my sister-in-law about two years ago - she paid for the first 3 months, and then we've been paying since. The service is mediocre at best and the quality of the stream is limited. So we ended up exploring other options. A friend had a subscription with one company, so we signed up with them on a 3 month term, but were immediately disappointed (not unsurprisingly my friend was quite happy to jump onboard with a change of provider - after he strongly recommended this one!) and another friend had one that had a free-trial - so we tried it and liked it, and signed up - except there's a scam site setup that has _almost_ the same name but does offer IPTV service, and then we found the proper site and signed up there after trialing it for 10 days and liking it.

We are presently subscribed to Rogers for cellular service, Bell for cable, and 4 different IPTV providers for the next 2.5 months. I don't know if I have you beat on your personal 5G hotspot capabilities, but I can pretty much watch any channel anywhere in the world if I want to!

Not sure where you live but my gf bought a box from a polish store in etobicoke a few years ago and we pay $20 a month subscription. The quality is great and we can watch any channel anywhere and almost any movie after it comes out in theaters. (Not a handcam quality) 1080p usually
The one exception i have found is Godzilla Minus one, it doesnt have that available yet. But i hear the director is being real stingy about the bluray release as well.

It sort of started during COVID where a group of friends would get together on a Zoom call and watch sports together - maybe have a few drinks - and just chat. But some of them had an IPTV provider and some didn't - but the sports would traverse the whole gamut - from things you don't watch for the sport itself like women's beach volleyball to things you watch to try and figure out wtf is going on, like Australian Rules Football or Cricket - but our IPTV box was not in the room where I do my calls with my friends. So we got a few 4K Firesticks and them sideloaded the apps onto them and use those as the box.

The service we settled on is about $23 / month (on a 3-month plan) but it offers 5 simultaneous connections and has profile management, and in a small thing that made my wife happy - it had no adult channels, so we could have our kids using them, too.

He was ok. I dont recall him being a huge standout, but he was ok.

Big physical stay at home D. I love him, honestly. Not super fast and wasn't talented enough to play against good competition, but as a 3rd pairing guy, 2nd pair in a pinch, he'd be okay. He hits hard and gets the job done. Thats my 2 cents. But I dont believe in mandatory vaccines so my opnion is obviously worthless.

I confess I have no idea what his game is about these days, but for defencemen I always find looking at their time on ice stats to be the best way to make a quick judgement.

He's currently the 6th in TOI/GP for a non-playoff team.

He's also 6th in EV TOI/GP.

2nd pairing on PK.

His cap hit isn't horrendous, and he's a pending UFA, so maybe the price wouldn't be too bad, but at least to me, he's nothing more than depth.
