Boston twice over the next week or two .....playoff preview I think.

Knies-Matt-Marner
Bert-Domi-Willie
McM-JT-Robbie
Holm-Kamp-Jarnk
Greg and Ryan on deck ...

Still thinking a bottom 6 winger with speed/size that can PK would be nice. Throw Greg overboard.

Boone frickin’ Jenner

Savard Ferraro Andersson Pulock or Tanev

That 4th line should be able to match up against any bottom 6 line and not get caved in.
- gravyface

ya, I like it. Can play tough minutes in a checking role too.

Maybe they add another bottom 6 guy and bump Jarnkrok to JT's side ...and Robbie or McManimal gets to watch.

Best guess....

Bjugstad or Dowd up front. Both can play C or RW and both are feisty/big.

Walker or E Johnson on D. Walker to 44's right side. I think they get outbid on Tanev.

Great cover songs continued. Going off the board this week. Here's a cover song by William Shatner. Decent version of an interesting song from Shatner's Has Been album released in 2004. Give it a try.

That was great. Never heard it or the original before. I was thinking of a couple of options for future Sundays: Twist and Shout and Respect

I hope that's true. If Vlad takes the season and his profession seriously, he is one of the top-10 best hitters in the game.

Walker is looking for 5M per apparently...

Don't think Tre's guy to pay on the RS is going to be a 5'11" player.

Draft capital - Picks in rounds 1,2,3 for 24' and 25'

Boston 1,0,1
Florida 0,1,2
Toronto 1,0,2
Tampa 0,1,2

The whole division in tough to do anything big.

Wouldn't be surprised if McMann and Robertson were moved beside JT to showcase them for a potential trade. I like the line, but it seems so un-Keefe.

Franklin's version of Respect was an all time great. The history of Twist and Shout is interesting. Originally released by an unknown band called the Top Notes (produced by Phil Spector) and covered by the Isley Brothers (the version the Beatles covered)

My guess is that he's left with the rental market ...somebody like Dallas outbids (pays a first) him for Tanev. None of the bigger ticket term guys get moved so he's left with the next best rental that he can afford. 3rd, prospect kinda deal maybe lands Walker.

McMann's a UFA this summer. He's found money and just running with it.

Robertson ..maybe. He could get moved if they found a bigger deal.

It could happen, but I don't see the Leafs moving McMann this year. He's done really well with limited opportunities. His ability and willingness to drive the net is a good influence on the Leafs IMO. I see the extras on this team as Gregor and Reaves. Gregor is a good skater that can shoot but has limited hockey IQ. Reaves could be useful down the stretch to police things, but will not see alot of playoff action IMO. Robertson is an RFA with no arbitration rights and is showing signs of potential. Not sure he's worth much in a trade. If the Leafs make a move, I would think it is more about a d-man with some size and grit. Adding a RH version of Benoit would be ok.

Isles are dropping fast.

Would they move a righty with Dobson taking over there?

Pulock and Mayfield playing behind him now.

Pulock would be expensive ...but is great.

IMHO, most cover songs tend to be inferior but here's a rare instance where the cover song eclipses the original (Peter Gabriel's "Mercy Street"):

(frank) ya, I'd take that into the playoffs for sure.

(I'd love to trade Brodie and put a Schenn type there, Brodie has completely lost his game. He's really bad)

I think this lineup is worse than what we currently have.

I don’t want Gio playing anything but 7th D.

I agree Brodie sucks.
