Curious to see if they move Jones if Woll comes back and looks ok. Carrying 3 goalies seems a bit expensive if they’ve got plans to add pieces and it would be better to get something rather than lose him to waivers. - Canada Cup
Do we know for sure Jones has to clear waivers to return to the Marlies? He was called up on emergency basis due to injury. You would think you'd be able to return him to the minors when the injured player returns.
Brodie is playable since he switched sides. 5 points (and +11) in his last 7 . And I like Gio/Leg as the 7/8 guys

Don't you need someone proven capable of playing top four pair playoff minutes with Rielly? That's too much to ask of Benoit. Plus then you're also eliminating the Benoit-McCabe chemistry. They're literally needing to replace the player in Klingberg's spot in the lineup.

Plus, Benoit is a leftie. Schenn was a RD version of Benoit and he worked well with Rielly
I had originally thought the arb difference was $6 - I thought they asked for $14m before I saw that they'd asked for $18.05 (the $14m was last year's salary).
I'm still stunned that he's making that much. Vlad was tied with Brandon Belt at 141st in WAR (2.0) last season. The year before he was 50th (3.9) in WAR and was given $14m as a result of that.
I really like Vlad - or at least what we know he's capable of - but professional sports is one of the few places where you can completely mail it in for a whole year, not be dedicated, not really give a crap - and get a raise because they know you could be better. The rest of us are updating our resumes and figuring out how to get our act together! - Monkeypunk
I am not convinced Vlad mailed it in. I am convinced a big part of it was them trying to get more loft in his swing and it messed him up.

Naw, I love it that somehow, we got both the healing crystal woo woo crowd and the backyard militia incels refusing vaccination during a pandemic. Absolute dream come true.
The best was the guns, guts and glory types spiking jugs of milk in corner stores cause they didn't want to wear a piece of cloth on their face. Just pure comedy gold.

I also still see peeps alone in car with mask on. Those people were done a disservice and need some help
