Masks are like religion. You dont need it to live a normal life but if it helps you sleep at night, that's fine too, and nobody who thinks differently should open their mouth one way or the other.

If my wife had to go somewhere where a mask was required she preferred to put it on in the house before we left she left rather than outside the facility. I’m not sure it was a mental health issued that us people caused.

I now wear a mask all the time on flights because I'd rather reduce my chances of getting sick on vacation. Nothing sucks more than arriving somewhere awesome with a cold, COVID, flu, whatever.

I think people should continue to use masks when not feeling well when out in public. We should be more respectful of passing around unwanted germs. Staying home from work more when sick would also be ideal but my boss for example just goes "it's the time of year" with a cold at work....

Everyone has their own situation. When I see a person alone in a car wearing a mask, I don't get it - but maybe they are picking someone up to take them for treatment and they're sick or under the weather. If my mother-in-law, who is now undergoing chemo, asked me to wear a mask to drive her to her chemo (because I have that stupid flu that's going around), I would. It's not just about me. Maybe the person has a long day wearing a mask ahead of them and figures they should get a start on it . . . I don't know. I don't care. Personally the less I have to wear a mask the better.

That said, it's not like I haven't made jokes about people alone in cars wearing masks, but I don't necessarily have the kindest humour.

I wore one in dec, alone in the car.

I was on my way to pick up my wife from the airport, and I had covid or was just getting over it. I didnt want to pass it on to her..coughing and spreading it all around the cabin of the vehicle, so I wore one to try and mitigate that as best I could.
