I just love that Wedgie got to see a Reaves goal in person.

Tough one ....they played pretty well. Couple of aww (frank)s for JT, Domi and Rielly. Big boys were dialed down most of the night. Some tough calls.

New run starts Thursday.

Noted.

So watching that game was about as satisfying as Wedgie having sex with two hot lesbians.

Of course, we are talking about how it wouldn’t be satisfying for the lesbians.

I’m not going to make any wild accusations - I can see how every bad call was just a ref seeing something and making a bad assumption.

But three horrible calls in one night is going to affect the game.

I wonder if LA would be interested in Robertson with Kempe out.

They want scoring now apparently…Robertson is from close to LA.

Could get some futures to use to help get a D.

Robertson is an NHLer, could be a good place holder on the 2nd line and someone to step in on the PP.

he had to play 3 D on wrong side. Brodie done it before. Come on Grimey who would you put on left side?
- drexel

Missed the point friend and that's very par for the course.

So the argument is coach didn't have any other choice, how not apologist of you. Does he get the same kind of credit for taking how many years to find out Tavares on line 3 is the play?

Tough one but I didnt think Vegas would be ok losing 5 in a row and 2 against the leafs. Rubber match will be game 7 in the cup finals!

If the Leafs want to think outside the box, why not move Samsonov to a Western Contender for draft picks, or a RD? Yes, it's a gamble, but with Woll ready to play, Jones as the backup and Hildebeast ready on the farm it would be a good gamble. The Leafs aren't probably signing him next year, so get assets for a trade this year. With the assets and someone like Robertson might get you a pretty decent defenseman and you keep your first rounder.

What was Keefe thinking? He should have challenged this play. A three goal lead is probably the end of this game. If they could have kept it two, they still had a chance.

Hey man where has all your insight been the past 7 games? Could really use a thinker like you around here more often. Always got these great tweaks on how to make the team better.

Bad night for the Blue and White.

Leafs and Tampa both lost games 6-2.

Forget about it and move on.

Hearing rumors of all sorts of d-men tied to Tampa.

Savard is a name that has come up more than once and popped up again in my feed this morning.

That is a hard pass for me.

Going by my eye test, he was a pylon here in Tampa. He struggled with zone exits, and often got pinned to the boards, dispossessed, or otherwise neutralized during retrievals.

I just don't remember him inspiring confidence or moving the needle here. I can't recall a single "highlight" of his during his time here.

And this isn't a case where a d-man being not noticeable is good.

No offense to Savard, but I don't want him back in the blue and white. He can stay in Quebec.

Ok great.
This seems like something that would be better suited for the lighting thread....or Florida thread?

Leafs dont necessarily need a right shot D (would be nice but maybe too expensive) but they do need D that are comfortable playing the right side.
Tsn was chatting about the above this morning and i agree.
Someone make it so.
