It was a pretty entertaining game, a few breakdowns and a goal because Juulsen blocked a shot with his back, causing a bit of running around.
Boys will bounce back next game. - Reubenkincade
Is it safe to now say that Benning corrected his mistake in drafting Juolevi 5th overall by trading him for Juulsen? Juulsen is turning into a quality Dman while Juolevi isn't even in the league.

penalty update since All Star break:
#Canucks lead #NHL in minors taken 51 (CGY next at 43) and times short-handed 45 (TBL next at 39). This is on them. Not on officials |

Yup, even RT mentioned all the stupid stick penalties they are taking. Pouty had one (careless highstick) last night. I think RT categorized it as lazy and sloppy. That might be a sign of fatigue...

yeah, that's exactly what I'm saying.
I think Juulsen was a 1st rounder but around 20something. Canucks just traded down for a better player while grabbing Lammikko in the process.

He forgot to mention that 10 million dollar Huberdeau is just over a point per game since Lindy’s not his center.
Thanks Alvin - K-man25
Right now they are moving Lindholm around the line up to help lower all the FA/UFA pending contracts. It's brilliant really...

The answer might still be a player on the Canucks. |

Lindholm experiment looks to be a bust so far but then again Keeping Kuzmenko might have been a similar bust. |

Ryan Whitney saying Brady Tkachuck might be on his way out of Ottawa. Let the Petey rumours rage...lol
Brady
Pinto
For
Petey (re-signed)
+ something small Podz?
Brady is Tocchet reincarnated.
Pinto is 6'3 200+ After the gambling thingy might be available.
And both are American so fit the theme of the team. |

You can count on Kuz being a bust if he stayed I think but that really doesn't mean anything. They need a player that can produce in the top 6. They put a package together to acquire Lindholm that beat out all the competition. A player having a crap season in Calgary and has been a dud in the top 6 here so far. Now playing in the bottom 6. Moving the 1st and a hot D+1 rhd prospect forces them to dig deeper if they want to address this problem in another trade.

The chance to maximize Kuz value was last offseason. It was a mistake to not sell high then.

Rather see Pettersson traded for a better class of player, talented with more self control, not Miller on anger steroids.

I am actually a little disappointed. I am still waiting for Arsedeep to score his first point so we can have a real celebration. Social media already has him playing on the top line, so if in fact when he does indeed score a point it will be crazy.
