I want to trade Jake here at the deadline, but the Pens failures are definitely not Jake related. He has been a PPG player in both the regular season and playoffs at a $6M salary. He has done his part.

I think that was the fastest game they've played all year. I think there was a span of 6 or 7 minutes without a whistle end to end in the 2nd.

Most of the games have been anything but boring. They've been in nearly every game. It's been a frustrating season because they've been really good in most aspects other than the PP. The PP has sucked the life out of the season IMO.

Plus, Sid is still amazing. This team would be bottom 5 without him. He's not boring.

They’ve had Jake the last 7 yrs of misses or early exits. Yeah lock him up well past his prime while still having a trash bottom 6…..sign me up!

Yeah. It would be really nice to see Dubas send Carter somewhere he has a chance. Sucks the Pens have let him down, a guy with that career and respect around the league deserves better.

Fell asleep right before puck drop again but this time woke on couch with it on in 2nd period. It was 1-0 Kraken but the Pens were swarming them. I watched for a little bit but then went bed figuring they might get it done. Perhaps their two best wingers, who can finish, in the lineup may have helped....
