If Monty stays this consistent throughout his upcoming contract, you just may have your goalie for the rebuild? All he does is get better and is competitive as (frank)!

And I may be the minority here, but I don’t get the Jake Allen hate?

He has stolen games for us in the past. And as an older man/player…..you can’t stay as ready and as pliable as a Monty or Primeau.

Jake is a great goalie, and even better teammate and and even better man.

I understand Hughes’ approach to trading Allen and keeping him and showing respect.

We may be frustrated with carrying 3 goalies right now. But this type of player treatment will go a long way to enticing players here to a more modern approach to the game all around

if you're gonna complain that a player is doing well, you might as well stop watching the games for the rest of the season imho.

yes, agreed 100% on Allen, I'm sure hadn't it been for the 3-goalie thing he would've looked much better. he's helped the team way more than he's hurt it overall.
