Well I'm completely out of the game as I almost never go out but here's a few suggestions:
Mckibbin's Irish pub (about 10-15 min walk from the Bell centre.) If you like Irish beers, it's great. Just stay away from the Rim Reapers wings, it's not worth it even if you get your name on the wall, trust me.
La belle et le boeuf burger bar on Ste-Catherine is pretty cool. It's fused into a library which gives it a very nice ambiance and the food is great. If your daughter is more into drinks than pints of beers, they have some pretty good ones there.
Finally, if you're a fan of eating chicken wings, the Brass Door pub & Grill is small but very good and it's not only "pub" foods.
Hope this helps. - Scabeh
Thanks
From my extensive internet research, McKibbins looks like it might do the trick. Or we may just be hideous tourists and eat at the place at the arena.

Well he'd be a great fit for the Leafs. Been saying it for months.
But the Leafs don't want him at his full salary and the Habs will be greedy if they retain.
Not sure it happens. - Scabeh
I'll go on record saying Savard is not going to be the guy for the Leafs.
Decent fit, too many issues making it work.

Honestly, at 3.5M, the Leafs don't need any retention. They could make that work this year and next if he's in their top 4. But even without retention he probably costs a 1st rounder and some things. - The Law
I don't want to just "make it work"
Might as well have just paid the price for Tanev and signed him rather than have Savard at 3.5M at 34 years old next year |

Can always involve CHI
You don't throw away millions overpaying for Richardenson and Foligno but turn down getting draft picks for retaining 1.5-2M for a few seasons |

Savard in his prime wasn't traded for that - AdamFrench
Gentlemen... I said ask... Not get.. Ask...
Hughes is going to try and drive the market up... by asking for the moon from Leafs.
Esp as the RHD market is Death Valley dry now.. As has been pointed out... Habs don't even need to trade him.

And no team has to trade for him either
Look, Savard is a nice player but lets not pretend he is anything significant. Hughes is not dealing from some magical position of strength where he can destroy someone in a trade.
He is 33 years old for (frank)s sake. |

The food has been improved significantly inside the Bell Centres the last few years but of course you'll pay an insane price for everything. Make sure you go the section on the ground floor where all the restaurants are.
Of course there's a "Cage aux sports" fused in the building which is fine.... but ain't nothing special.

Hughes has been extremely good at getting value for his players so far.
Got a first and a prospect for Chiarot.
Got a first and a prospect for Toffoli.
Got a 2nd and a former first round pick (Justin Barron) for Lehkonen.
Got a first acquiring Monahan AND a first when trading him away.
I'm not ruling him out getting a first for Savard but it's a long shot at this point and would involve retaining salary for sure. |

Chiarot was madness...I really do not think that would happen these days. GMs have gotten smarter.
I mean Tanev is better and he didnt even get a 1st.
Toffoli was a fantastic player and had term, no surprise.
Lehkonen was another fantastic player, was an RFA too.
Monahan was some smart business.
Savard is not grouped into that. He honestly is just a nice player that can help some teams. And honestly the Leafs are one of the few teams right now that are really going to pay the price for a RHD.
He is a stylistic and positional fit so yeah if MTL wants to work out a fair trade then sweet...but Tre walks away and moves on if Hughes wants some sort of crazy price. He is not worth it at all. |

ngl, saw this on twitter and made me laugh
"The Coyotes have lost 14 in a row and yet they stand just two points behind the Senators"
seems impossible with...trying to make the playoffs Ottawa senaturds
but ..its great! - senstroll
You kinda pushed me down an internet rabbit hole on this one.
San Jose currently sits at .302 and is trending downward.
Chicago is at .292 and I am confident they can continue to suck.
The last time two teams finished below .300 was 1995-96 - San Jose and Ottawa.

This level of optimism is adorable. Or delusional, which is also adorable!
GMs at the trade deadline are like people at an auction. I mean . . . you have the money but you shouldn't spend it, but you _can_, but you shouldn't, but if it wasn't meant to spent, why do you have it? But you shouldn't. But if that guy thinks it's worth that and you have the money and you can spend it and it's there to spend it, why wouldn't you spend it?
Any smart person can talk themselves into anything dumb. That's easy.
It's getting a dumb person to talk themselves into smart that's a challenge.

I don't want a 34 year old Savard hampering the Leafs in getting an actual good top 4 D in free agency that can help them for years.
It is they retain a good chunk of his cap hit or move on for me. Might as well just get a rental at that point, its cheaper. |

We always say GMs get smarter but then they make Chiarot trades |
