Yep Vegas too but make no mistake...Canucks are in trouble. - LordHumungous
Meh, that's why winning early is important. Plenty of time to work through it. |

Vancouver having a great season but are overachieving. Warts starting to show. - Oildrum
The Pettersson contract signing should help, but they have massive kinks starting to show. Tocchet said today the club is in a 'major funk' depends on how they handle it and how long it takes to get out of it. Timing is brutal. |

Where were you last week when the Oilers were losing? - Load Management
He does have a point, 4 games and 9 pts back and the teams are trending in opposite directions, can you image the last oilers game for division |

Whether anyone admits it or not, losing Myers is a big blow. But I still think they'll work their way through it. This is a well Coached team. Better to work out the kinks now than the last week of the season. |

It's Sunday March 3rd, 2024 and the Florida Panthers are the best team in the National Hockey League..... |

This is the first year for the Canucks coming out of the disastrous Benning years, a very long eight year stretch, the team overachieved this year so no matter what happens they've had a great year and they have a lot to build on going forward. |

Yep and the Nucks will slip out of the top 5 soon then out of the top 10. One has to wonder what the payout would be if I put $1000 on the Nucks to miss the PO's....

It may not be about points alone. I know you don't see the game any other way but if you actually watch a full game you might understand.
No wonder Load Management gets frustrated trying to explain the game to you. |

I never said it was about points alone. If you need a paragraph everytime for me explaining the reason why I think things and for you to just say that I think I know everything. I can do that for you. I just shorten it up basically saying he is playing really well because normally if you aren't scoring in the AHL, the chances of you succeeding in the NHL is minimal.
I know the reason is that they are giving all the AHL players a chance to see where they are at. Karlsson was already up for 4 games and wasn't great. Wasn't given the same chance as Bains though. Bains has a higher ceiling. Karlsson has been excellent since he went back down though, teams best player. Podz has been inconsistent.

When the Canucks had some energy, globetrotting for 6 months will wear on anyone that’s their biggest wart right now. Canucks are still on a learning curve and a work in progress, Rutherford and RT have both said they are a long ways from being where they want to be. |

That much is very clear since they have reverted back to an under .500 Hockey club in 2024. Time to see what this club is made of. |
