So not a single piece that even comes close to EP in terms of potential. Waste of time. At least it's pushing the resigning to happen sooner. - NorthNuck
You aren't getting EP back, you are getting parts that equal him.
PLD for Vilardi, Iafallo, Kupari type of deal. Working out great for Wpg btw. |

I'd probably give Necas to Lindholm, keep the 3rd line together and Kotkaniemi centering the 4th line. - manvanfan
I don't why some moronic fans want to break up the most successful line this season. |

For every deal like that there are 20 deals that don't work out in your favor when dealing the best player. Kupari's been awful, Iafallo's been ok and Vilardi's been good on the wing because they already had really good players. The same cannot be said for the Canucks. |

You can look at Eichel to Vegas. Tuch has been good like Vilardi has, Kupari has been poop like Krebs has been. Still waiting on the 1st who is going to be a couple years away still and they traded the 2nd to Minny who picked the WHL leading scorer this year, sorry 2nd. He's 1 point behind. Helped Vegas win a cup.

Kuzmenko still in the press box, Aaron? - Marwood
Ya buddy! Apparently he has a cold or something lol. He hasn’t been a star yet but at least he’s a happy guy to be around. |

I kinda hope he's traded now just to see the fall-out, it would be glorious. I think I'm attracted to hockey chaos? - Pacificgem
I am starting to feel like this as well. Screw it. I really want to know who the next target is that the fan base will turn on. Hughes most likely. Maybe Demko... then we can start bouncing the idea of a tear down and starting over next season.
I feel this fan base enjoys the prospect talk more than a successful season anyways. They are more miserable in 1st place than they are in the bottom 10 of the standings.

Lotto line was out for a minute last night.
The Joshua line was broken up when he was injured.
Not sure you can pin that on the fans. |

I think it’s mock trades that keep this place going.
The idea of trading JTM was fun last year.
Lots of frustration when he wasn’t moved at the TDL.
Now it’s Pettersson.

Isn’t that the truth lol…the fan-base hated being in first place, expectations became too high, the fans started nitpicking every little detail on why they weren’t good enough.
The Bruins just won for their first time in regulation in ten games, the Rangers lost eight of eleven a month back, I don’t recall their fans attacking their own team. It’s kinda funny. As much as we hate to admit it, Leaf fans and Canuck fans are very similar in that their highs are very high, and the lows are very low. |

Every organization and fanbase does, but not one team can do it consistently for all 82 games. Professional sports is hard. |

If they do the Canes deal, and Lindholm walks for a bigger contract than he's worth, it will be interesting to see what the back up plan is. Kotkaniemi has a career high 43 points. Not going to cut it....
Canucks would go from being the envy of the league last season having Petey Miller Horvat down the middle to Miller(32 next season), Kotkaniemi, Suter, Blueger and shopping the UFA market for a top 6 center. Let's look at the UFA market.... Hmmm... not very good at all and there will be competition for those players... over payment and gambles.
Management was content on waiting until summer to work out the deal. They said it over and over. Canucks are not falling out of a playoff spot. So why has it changed from being content to desperate to resolve this before TDL? Nothing other than fans and local media losing their poop and management panicking over it.
Even if Lindholm signs here... is that really going to cut it? He isnt working out with the current players we have.
I see more disastrous outcomes than solutions with trading away a 25 year old center of Peteys caliber unless a deal involves a high end C. I just want the fans to be happy though.

What would a lineup look like?
Necas-Jtm-Boeser
Joshua-kotkianemi-Garland
Mikheyev -Lindholm-Suter
Hoglander-Blueger-Lafferty - dbot
This is the moronic line up I was referring to. You have a healthy Joshua in there, not injured. Why break up Joshua, Blueger & Garland if they are all healthy unless you eat crayons on the short bus. |
|
|
|
Correct. Team has looked pretty sad since the all star break need a reset of sorts for the players as well. look lost and tired out there. Lindholm trade looks to be a miss by PA and JR. Tocchet must be wired lol - LordHumungous

Rumour of that Carolina deal according to Sat was
Necas
Kotkaniemi
1st round pick
Bradley Nadeau and possible another prospect.
That is a deal I would give a ton of consideration too. - manvanfan

It's a team effort not one single player and currently they all look like sh!t.
I'm sure Tocchet has a plan. But we knew that play 1st half was not sustainable.
Bottom line is if we continue at .500 over the last 20 games PO are assured. But the seeding will look way different if we don't finish 1st in the division. I guess no matter who we play first rounds are always tough but would be nice to go in on a high. |

I said 4-2. They are in a funk right now and it was easy money. Had $100 on LA and got 2/1 so it was a quick $200 back lol. Now I can make another run at Gulfstream this weekend Pick 6 should be over 6 mil |
