If the Leafs had this much dead cap we would be reading it as how terrible the Leafs are - how screwed they are cap wise, Yadda, yadda yadda daily from so many who just want to talk hockey. 🤣

Pettersson was a RFA and he still got more than Nylander. Nylander was headed to free agency, a bit of a difference here.

So far Pettersson has put up more points per game than Nylander. This year Nylander has played 3 less games and has 7 more points and is a legit 40 goal scorer.

It's a real tough choice as Nylander has been playing much better defensively. I don't know Pettersson well enough to know if he plays that way.

Well of course you would and rightfully so, its a leafs board. Im sure that 4.71m will get brought up by the canucks fans and media if it interferes with acquiring players. Unless they have success then why would anyone care.

As for your question, im gonna go wtih a combo of B and C for a couple of reasons: 1) i dont know who terry and deaner are 2) i don't believe it will be a full on riot but definitely civil unrest and 3) everything canucks fans do is fueled their hatred/jealousy of the leafs and Toronto in general.
