Between now and Friday we must have 3 emphatic wins and have traded for a new elite RHD in exchage for a pair of 5th rounders.

The kid hasn't even won a fight yet and is 6'7"
Look at his face
He won't survive if he keeps fighting - Santo_44
I completely agree!
This looks like a case of someone trying to establish a role as a fighter simply because of his size. Unfortunately, being that big doesn't necessatily mean he is good at it. |

And reaves is good at hockey? We had him and he was a total BUST in the playoffs! You guys have benched him at times also. He’s been living off his reputation for a long time there’s a much better chance Rempe plays in the playoffs than reaves because he may not be as good of a fighter as reaves but he’s a much better HOCKEY player! |

(I say this well aware of Reaves and Antropov, etc.)
Rempe could be one of the worst skaters I’ve ever seen play in the league. Makes me get that weird panic feeling watching him turn and get going - like that feeling when you try to thread a needle and just can’t. That second shake feeling.
If Rempe doesn’t fight - he doesn’t play.
The role of players like that in the playoffs is to go in and out depending on the climate of the series. It’s understood (at least up here) that players like Revo won’t dress unless necessary. They are very useful when the series calls for it. |

I almost feel bad for him. Did you watch that Philly fight with Deslauriers (sp?). My face hurt after watching that.
The kid's brain is gonna be jello. I have mixed feelings about it. I love seeing a good fight, but this almost feels wrong somehow. - GalacticStone
I did
I mean it is pretty clear he is not a fighter. All he did with Reaves was use his reach to hold him back but Reaves was close to clocking him a few times even with him being conservative.
One of these guys will get him in the jaw and will knock him out.
I get it, he is trying to make a name for himself...If he keeps playing ok and being tough he will get a nice 3 year deal worth 2.5M like Martin and Reaves. But at what cost. |

I agree he’s playing now because we don’t have any better fourth line options same for edstrom. Hopefully we do something at the trade deadline. |

Fun fact about Prince and this performance with Petty, Lynne and Windwood.
In 2004, Rolling Stone omitted Prince from their list of Top 100 Guitarists of All Time. A few days later at his Hall of Fame induction ceremony, he reminded everyone just how wrong that was |

Watch Nylander last night in OT with 3:17 on the clock.
Truly incredible stuff, only Willy would pull that off. |
