Lol over 40?
Tweaked my back rolling out of bed too quickly once. - Fakepartofme
Yup. It's just dumb! About 5 years ago, I already had a bit of a rib injury, but I exacerbated it to the point where it was worse - simply from folding f'n laundry!
I was told my eyes would go, and I recall people telling me that hangovers got worse over 30, and knees and joints got worse over 40 . . . but no one really said that after 50 you should be casket shopping - just in case!

My favourite thing about talking with you is how useless it is since you don't actually discuss anything. You just dismiss everything you don't want to hear. You're pretending to have hockey conversations but really you're just standing on a soap box yelling about how angry you are. - Monkeypunk

I don’t think it’s anger. It’s just attention seeking. This all started with “why are you talking about Renke hit? Talk about my stuff.” - Canada Cup
In my defence, I started talking about Willy completely (frank)ing his team over yesterday.
But generally, you’re right. |

Without Lindholm and Potrais that Bruins team...isn't that good?
I know we aren't allowed to say it about the Bruins anymore but it has to be true eventually.
Marchand 1 goal in like 14 games. Are we allowed to talk about decline at 35? |

It is. He’s no all star but they needed a big stay at home rightie as a primary thing. |

I confess I didn't see the game Saturday night, but from the Zapruder film that AA put up here this morning, I don't really have a problem with Nylander making a change.
3 on 3 hockey is totally different from 5 on 5. The risk/reward ratio is out of whack - there's a lot more risk.
I don't know what happened on the play before the Rangers brought it back, but if Willy was going in for a scoring chance, great. And then if the puck is coming back 3 on 2, we want him to get off and get fresh legs. The worst thing he could do is stay on the ice, and have the Rangers rag the puck in our end for two minutes, get changes, and score on 2 tired guys and an exhausted Willy. - Atomic Wedgie
I noticed it too, it was a poopty time for Nylander to dip out...and not in a 3 on 3 is weird kinda way.
IIRC he was only out for a short amount of time and when he meandered off and left a 3 on 2, I thought WTF he couldn't have been out of gas already.
But not for nothing, the whole OT was sloppy AF. Matthews was skating like he was gassed as soon as his skates hit the ice. Leafs we're lucky to win IMO. |

they should be on the decline but the (frank)ers are still hanging at the top of the standings. Great opportunity for the Leafs to win both games, Bruins are on one leg going in. just make sure Pasta does not do Pasta things and nets 3 goals |

They should be favoured to win both games.
Lindholm could be back Thursday so that will help them.
Leafs win tonight and the Bruins limp home to face a rested Edmonton tomorrow...Leafs need to kick them while they are down. |

Team is still a top of the standings.
So hopefully they get knocked out first round again. |

The Broons are......struggling?
have given up 3-5 goals in 11 straight games.
a lot of OT/SO games.
Love to see the Leafs put the boots to them. |

For now.
This long stretch for them has indicated they are going to fall down the standings.
Leafs win tonight and I say good luck to them against a rested Edmonton team. Huge game tonight for both teams. |

Yeah, so long as Keefe has his task a simple one for now (as in just play back for Rielly) this shouldn’t be too hard to get him on par with. |

The excuses so far:
He doesn’t make 11.5M yet (my fav)
Maybe the bench signalled him to come off?
He was tired!
3-on-3 is different
His man was on the off side
He wouldn’t have made a difference (probably true )
Marner blah blah blah
Truly incredible how far you guys will reach to protect Willy’s reputation. - Arctic_AARDVARK
This is you every day...
"Dear Mitchy,
I hope you don't mind I called you Mitchy. I figure since I've written 571 daily letters that we can do that with each other. I'll let you figure out a name for me but I suggest something cool like "Laser" or "Turbo".
I told the internet that Nylander made a BIG mistake in your win against the rangers! I glossed over your icing but those happen when you're ELITE. Anyway I got the internet TRAPPED with my film review. No way they can argue now!
Anyway, hoping you'll notice me outside the Scotiabank arena the next time my mom drives me to Toronto. Next time I'll stay for the full 3 hours after the game in case you came out late again! I thought I saw you but it must have been my eyes after 2 hours in the snow. You'd never do me like that Mitchy.
Much Love,

From EF's pod
Leafs and other teams have looked into Jensen
Dumba is low on Leafs list
Nick Roberston has been told he will be up with the team post deadline, will not stay with the Marlies
Half joked about Leafs getting Justin Holl as he is available

Every year the trade deadline is hyped up and every year I fall for it and get disappointed. I have to work this Friday so I'll just catch highlights. |

Honestly this TDL day may be quite busy compared to the last few.
Overall maybe not so much but a lot will be crammed into the final week here. |
