I noticed it too, it was a poopty time for Nylander to dip out...and not in a 3 on 3 is weird kinda way.

IIRC he was only out for a short amount of time and when he meandered off and left a 3 on 2, I thought WTF he couldn't have been out of gas already.

But not for nothing, the whole OT was sloppy AF. Matthews was skating like he was gassed as soon as his skates hit the ice. Leafs we're lucky to win IMO.

Nylander came on at 4:20, they had the chance that led to an offensive zone faceoff at 4:05, at 3:21 Nylander goes for the change and is off the ice at 3:20.

It wasn't a rushing 3-on-2 - the Rangers had gained the zone initially, and then pulled back to the neutral zone - that was when Nylander went for the change. It still looked bad, and my first thought at the time was that it was a bad decision.

But a minute on the ice in 3 on 3 OT? I guess the question is how much he really had left.

Easy transition

Just had a 45 minute meeting that could have been 10 minutes.

At 35 minutes, a visibly frustrated Wedgie took control of the meeting (it wasn't mine) and got poop done.

The Hanifin thing is interesting ...sounds like he's angling hard for the US south-east but neither of those teams has a lot to give.

I think Tree is dangling the 1st but only for term and teams are maybe not interested in moving those guys ...so far.
