Hearing some random talk about the Habs being tied to Jonatan Berggren, youngster in the Wings system that apparently wants a new start elsewhere and will be a RFA.

Apparently plays both wings.
Might be an interesting 3rd line player with potential to be more. Seems to score well at the AHL level, decent (not spectacular) NHL numbers in limited games.
Sounds like a HuGo reclamation project in the making.

I'm all for taking a change on a kid that might do something, as long as it does not cost much.
Would be nice to see some real competition from kids for middle 6 spots, rather than stuffing Armia and Anderson and (cannot believe I am saying this) Gallagher as wingers.
