I made lasagna for the first time yesterday.

Used my meat sauce recipe, damn it was good..

Love me a meaty lasagna, but I tend to make mine vegetarian, with two ricotta layers: one with garlic sauteed mushrooms, one with sauteed spinach and chili.
Homemade tomato sauce, of course.

I’m sure it’s tasty.

I don’t make anything vegetarian.

In fact my meat sauce is pork and beef.

Although my niece is a vegetarian and she can make some pretty good dishes.

i actually like when it's overcast but it's that kind of slow, constant rain that's somewhere in between windshield wiper speed settings.

Yeah, been a light snow year out east (well, got bad east of Quebec a few times), too. Barely had to shovel.

Have not even had that many super cold days this winter, either.

I've made the same with a Bolognese before (beef/pork/veal), but found it muted the taste of the ricotta and veg layers. I like those flavours to shine.
