Sorry to disappoint you. My mind, my vision, my health, all still pretty sharp.

You want to talk about unusual is a person who lives in a remote area with his dad and argues with everyone about everything for hours and hours a day. Now that is not normal.

- VANTEL

Green Lake area is hardly remote but you probably think Stanley Park is wilderness.

My father went through cancer treatment twice in the last 5 years plus he almost died of liver failure if I didnt drop by and see how he was doing not too long ago. He was sitting in a chair bloated with bile build up and yellow. No shame for living with him in his final few years now(or months, who knows really).

The irony of you talking about posting every day and arguing with people on HB.

Let me guess. You fell off your bike.

Mid 50’s seemed like yesterday to me. Time flies as we age into these years we now live in.

I think the majority of this crowd is closing in on fifty and more. Still a few guys probably passing thirty five but getting old no one can avoid.

Really soft forward. There is only 1 forward that plays 14 minutes plus a game, Johnny Gaudreau that hits less.
- manvanfan

Yes true. I just like his value the past couple years on points. Not going to lose sleep over him. My UFA choice is Chandler Stephenson. Too much has to happen before can entertain going after him.

He should have been around a 5th round pick type deal, instead they included a 2nd.

Just another GM fawning over size like some in here do lol

No disrespect to your dad I am sure he is a nice guy, but his mind can't be all that sharp if he decided to live with you

I used to be on here more than anyone, but then I grew up. You have now grabbed that honor of being the annoying one. You would be surprised at how little I come here now. I come in read a few things and most times just think to myself here we go again, Booner telling everyone they are wrong and leave.

Fishing is my passion these days and I go out almost every day, weather permitting. This time of the hear I use a heated tent so only the worse weather stops me. No cabin fever here.

I actually feel trapped when I visit the city for more than 48 hours these days. Too used to the relaxing environment up here to be there for more than a couple of days.

You are delusional. The only time you are not here(aside from your nights sleep) is when you are napping during the Canucks game only to wake up later and return to argue with people about what happened in the game. In your head, that hour you go out in the afternoon is "all day away from hb".

I don’t miss the city but also never minded it. I could avoid most of the trappings easily enough. My work allowed for that. Living away from there is similar but quiet is a much nicer feel for sure. Challenge is now retirement & what that will lead to so lakefront fun & outside stuff around the house & golf & vacations is in order. Never was into fishing but that would’ve been a great add. Biggest hole is not playing sports anymore & all that it brought. Fun & Sun & different group of ppl mostly.

His greatest value is he’s a RHD. Define ‘squat’ & put a quantative number on it. I’ll start off with 1-2/3m hometown deal after 5/6m didn’t get good value.

Your claim ‘won’t be a huge discount’ has no teeth lol

I was very close on Petey btw.

- Nighthawk

Your claim on 3m is laughable, and you started at 8.5 to 9 for Pettersson, after several posters thought this was comical and several weeks and months of you claiming this was warranted. Pettersson kept putting up points quietly and your tune changed to 10, a few weeks later it became 11. I remember this because when you went on a Pettersson tirade I would chime in with 11.4 or 12.5 or whatever.

I think Myers comes in just under 5 (4.75?) IF he is re-signed. Zadorov will be elsewhere, Cole possibly elsewhere, Juulsen stays.

Now I am just the same as the rest here and know diddly squat just like everyone else, you could be right but I highly doubt it.

Most days I am not even on here until 11 or 12, then in the afternoon a couple days a week I go pick up the grandkids from school.

Can you believe there are actually people who don't enjoy your never ending ranting.

For the record I am not against the Petey signing. I bet the wife earlier today that I could make this guy on here argue for 10 pages today. I have two more pages to go and I win a pizza of my choice.

As far as the actual contract goes it doesn't bother me. I would have liked a lower number but I am a tight wad. I figured all along he would sign here.

Funny how you spend every day turning all things into a Petey poop storm and then complain about other people ranting. Look at today for example... after your brilliant claim that Miller is on pace for a back to back 100 point seasons and everyone was laughing at it... you shamelessly redirected the conversation to Petey out of the blue. No one was talking about it before you. You steer it into your usual poop storm, brag about your achievement... and follow up with criticizing people about rants and arguing.

You are lost in the woods Joe.

That's funny because I bet her you would argue with me for at least 10 pages and here you are page for page, post for post. Except it wasnt for a pizza.

Our expansion cousins havn’t been better, other than the French connection in the 70s it’s pretty thin.

Not sure where you get your info from, but Miller has done it 3 times.
- Reubenkincade

You are 100% correct, which is a strange concept for me as you’re always wrong.

Miller is far and away the Canucks best player on a nightly basis, he’s come a long ways from his pouty days. We need more players like him.

So not only are you a constant complainer but now you are moonlighting as a clairvoyant. You now read minds . Just simply amazing. Is their any limit to your skills?

I wrote the Miller comment to trigger the Petey guardians. Job done.

If you want to talk about laughter how about some middle aged guy living in a cabin with is father still arguing with strangers every day about everything.? You are like the modern day Sanford n Son.
