Your claim on 3m is laughable, and you started at 8.5 to 9 for Pettersson, after several posters thought this was comical and several weeks and months of you claiming this was warranted. Pettersson kept putting up points quietly and your tune changed to 10, a few weeks later it became 11. I remember this because when you went on a Pettersson tirade I would chime in with 11.4 or 12.5 or whatever.
I think Myers comes in just under 5 (4.75?) IF he is re-signed. Zadorov will be elsewhere, Cole possibly elsewhere, Juulsen stays.
Now I am just the same as the rest here and know diddly squat just like everyone else, you could be right but I highly doubt it. - Makita
I recall 5/10.5m on a shorter deal if he wanted to cash in big next deal like Matthews. I said I could live with 8/12m rumoured but still held out for less. Talking heads speak of Willy comp & I spoke of Pastrnak.
I see Cole walking cuz of cap reasons. Z & Myers if both resigned will be about 7.5m combined my guess. Both are 4-5 type D imo. PA & company have been pretty solid on contracts & term. We still lack 1 more top 3 D who & how no clue but should wait til prospects develop. Cannot see the cap space to do otherwise without more big moves done & for future cap mgmt. |

You are 100% correct, which is a strange concept for me as you’re always wrong.
Miller is far and away the Canucks best player on a nightly basis, he’s come a long ways from his pouty days. We need more players like him. - Pacificgem

He hasn’t been as advertised at the cost. He’s not alone in this recent slide. Still lots of time to get it in gear & prove PA right. Contract year & all I expect him to find a groove just not sure how high of a level. |

That he’d work well with Pettersson and flourish offensively. I pulled a Reuby, I was dead wrong. |

People wanted to give him 8m and replace Petey with him.
Next season after shipping out a young high end C...
Miller(32)
Lindholm(30)
Blueger(31)
Suter(29)
Petey keeps the C position something to build with for years to come. Otherwise it's a very short plan and Lindholm for Petey isn't exactly a world beating move down the middle.

I was worried that the Canucks blew their TDL wad on someone who was more a defensive player and they wouldn't get the top 6 offense they needed.
Still time for it not to work out that way but so far my worries are playing out.

Has EP ever had consistent line mates? The only players I've seen who "play well" with Pouty are JT and Boeser. He's kind of like Crosby in that manner.

Leafs fans before the start of tonight's game chanting , we want Boston, through the 1st 2 periods Bruins putting on a clinic on how to play defensively and take advantage of your opportunities.

Expensive get for Lindholm. I see him as good on the dot & D & the 2nd of a dynamic duo the other being a play driver. Stills need a complete line with a good 3rd wheel. The 3rd wheel has been difficult for RT other than Joshua. |

He got 100+ points last season not playing with those two 5v5. I heard in a pre game show that the lotto line only were together for 11 minutes last season. Petey proved he could play with others. Kuzmenko crash and burned this season and there was no other top 6 players to give Petey outside of the Lotto line. Lindholm isnt doing poop on any of the top 3 lines so again, guys without chemistry anywhere in the line up are not going to work out on his line.
I wish they traded for Monahan. Smaller cap hit, less assets to acquire, was playing OK on a poop team and doing really well since joining the Jets. Oh well.
