Nope, 3rd best Dman on the team, he may renegotiate an extension but it won't be a huge discount, real hockey people in the industry know players talents and value, HB wanna be arm chair GM's know squat as is evident in here today, but please carry on fantasizing.

There will be much behind the scenes cap structuring going on. On D it is obvious with Hronek coming up & Hughes down the road. ELC types like D Petey not far off & a cheap Juulsen helps. Cannot expect a D corp with any more on the cheap contracts if contending other than 7-8 depth D types. Up front a similar approach has begun but still some decisions coming. F depth is the immediate challenge.

Miller actually makes 9+ this season.-

His greatest value is he’s a RHD. Define ‘squat’ & put a quantative number on it. I’ll start off with 1-2/3m hometown deal after 5/6m didn’t get good value.
