He was piss poor the first several years but hes been much better the past several years.
Still has a hiccup here and there.....like almost any player.

From what I saw, they didnt mention that specific incident spoken about earlier, but they did discuss how he may be player that needs to be benched once in while to be held accountable.

High priced players are lightning rods if not playing hard. So many players fight for a job & a min contract. I’ll criticize any NHL player who looks like they are floating.

D is about hustle & the GAF meter on. Come the PO’s warriors & unsung heroes are made. Cannot recall any cup champ who didn’t have them. No money is to be won so it comes down to heart & will.

Ive said i think his new contract is an overpayment by 750 000 to a million per year and might not age well. But its done now.
Also hes on pace for at least 100pts, so not too shabby.
But I also thought marner was overpaid by the same amount on his current contract.
